This newly created role of Chief of Staff offers an exciting opportunity to join a trail blazing charity on a mission to effect big changes in the world of poverty in the UK. We are a small yet fast-growing and ambitious team, respected for our work over the past 11 years.
As member of the senior leadership team, the Chief of Staff will work directly with the CEO and other senior executives in the charity to improve the effectiveness of the CEO and the management team. The role will participate at trustee board meetings and SLT meetings.
To be successful, the Chief of Staff needs strong leadership skills and the ability to influence senior managers. The successful candidate will demonstrate great attention to detail, high levels of organisation as well as being both an analytical and strategic thinker.
The candidate should have high levels of empathy and understanding of what motivates staff, must have strong written communication skills and be able to produce presentations that are clear and well organised. Being able to establish a strong working relationship with the CEO with good chemistry is essential
