A key member of the Enabling Lives team, you will be responsible for the employability training aspect of Tower Talent – our new employability & well-being project. Aimed at those who are isolated and furthest from employment – or with support needs you will help them build their skills and confidence to not only find a new job but thrive in their roles.
With experience managing training, you will deliver workshops on communication skills, interview skills, CV writing and key behaviours for successful employment. You will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Project Worker to lead, develop, coach and provide pastoral care to Tower Talent participants. This includes monitoring their progress, giving constructive feedback and encouragement which enhances their well-being, reduces isolation and enables them move closer to employment.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detailed, conscious, organised and able to manage own workload, providing reports on participants’ progress and employment.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about supporting participants to develop their readiness for work skills and empowering them to retain employment. A people person, you use the practical nature of the employment, training and education model as a means to teach new skills, coach and build confidence in participants. You must be committed to the aims and values of the charity and comfortable at representing the organisation independently in the community.
