Job Description

Eden Brown is proud to be representing a very well known charity who are recruiting for a Floating Support Worker. The role will be based in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a temporary and who is available immediately for five months contract.

-This is a part time position for two and a half days a week (18.75 hours)
-The candidate must be available every Wednesday morning.

To be considered for this role you need to have previous domestic violence experience of working in Support Services environment within Charity sector or Non-for profit organisation.

Main Duties:
-Providing support to the people in need, by offering emotional and practical support (safety plan, benefits, housing, etc.)
-This role will include meeting with clients and provide face-to-face guidance on issues including safety, accommodation, legal and child care matters.
-To establish the risks and the needs of survivors of domestic violence, through enabling women to assess and manage risk to their own and their family.
-To report any problems/difficulties/complaints to the Services Manager and participate in follow up investigations as required.
-To maintain confidentiality and to ensure that professional boundaries are observed when working with residents, staff and external bodies and to work within organisations Code of Conduct.
