Job description

To help establish Forcera CIC to be at the forefront of systems change for women, children and youg people, the directors wish to establish an advisory board who can help us to grow successfully.

Forcera CIC s a newly formed not-for-profit think-tank and consultancy that was set up to support grassroot, small-medium third-sector organisations by working in partnership to deepen their impact on women, children and young people by exploring the complexities of the systems we operate in and how best we can affect the root causes of issues to bring about positive change by drawing upon the latest theories and research which will be assessed so as to select the best opportunities for development.

We are looking for people who have the time to make an active contribution that will make an impact.

The Advisory Board will be external to the organisation and will provide fresh eyes, a unique perspective and expertise from different disciplines and/or backgrounds which will complement, strengthen and enhance Forcera’s leadership, credibility and networks.

We would like to hear from people who will bring different areas of expertise: marketing, sales, operations, finance, human resources, technology and research, especially from the fields related to women, children, young people, human rights, law and education.

Ideally the group would meet initially once a month for one-two hours to get Forcera established. Then as things pick up once a quarter for one-two hours. These meetings can be on a conference call, yet in person, if possible, would be preferable, as they have significantly more powerful.
