Job Description

FAMILY MENTOR SUPERVISOR, FAMILY MENTOR SERVICE SOUTH, NOTTINGHAM, PERMANENT, FRWK09 £21,247 - £23,095 FTE, 37 HPW (TO BE WORKED FLEXIBLY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE)

The family mentor service supports families in the St Ann’s and Arboretum / Hyson Green wards in Nottingham; this is a universal service open to all children born in those wards. It is a parenting support programme over the pre-school years that will include home visiting and group work with a focus on child development and positive outcomes.

We are looking to recruit a Family Mentor Supervisor to supervise and lead a team of Family mentors. The post will also include case holding and delivering groups and may require some Saturday working. The post will require an understanding and experience of working with children and families and of effective leadership.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of child development, excellent organisational skills, experience of leadership and staff development.
