NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER, TRANSITIONS SOUTH, FRWK03 £16,296 - £17,811 FTE PLUS 7.5% ENHANCEMENT FOR HOURS WORKED BETWEEN 10 PM AND 7 AM, PERMANENT, 37 HPW

Framework is excited to be offering supported accommodation in the county of Nottinghamshire for young people aged 16-21yrs, who are homeless or vulnerably housed.  We aim to move young people to independent living after a short stay at these services by supporting them to make positive choices and inspiring them to be the best that they can be.

A vacancy has arisen in our service for young people in Gedling. We want to recruit a Night Workers specifically to support teenage mothers and their babies. Successful applicants will join a friendly team who strive to empower young people and assist them to build on their skills and confidence.

The successful applicants will:

  • Support young mothers during the hours of 4.30pm and 4am, on a rota of 4 nights on and 4 off.

  • Ensure that the building and its occupants are safe and secure

  • Provide and receive comprehensive handovers to and from the day team

  • Have an understanding of safeguarding and the needs of young people and babies

  • Be able to build rapport easily with the young mothers

  • Be able to keep accurate records on a computerised system
