Edwin House is looking to employ a Senior Support Worker who is suitably skilled and experienced and who has a passion for working within the substance misuse field.
Edwin House has been opened since February 2018 and it is a 63-bed facility based in Radford. Of these 63 beds, 15 are used for an in-patient detox and 48 beds provide residential accommodation. The vacancy is in the residential area of this facility and the role involves supporting people who present with a range of complex support and health conditions resultant from historic or current problematic substance misuse.
Framework is looking to appoint a Senior Support Worker that will take a leadership role in ensuring the provision of high standards of care and support are delivered to service users to enable them to gain some control over their substance use, improve their quality of life and build recovery capital within the residential care and move on support areas.
Senior Support Workers are required to work shifts over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week.
