Job description


The MNTS worker will be working with people in their own accommodation providing long term intensive tenancy support. You’ll be working with individuals who have been referred by Opportunity Nottingham who have multiple and complex needs including substance misuse, mental health, rough sleeping and offending.

The role will provide support to Service Users by support planning, reviewing and assessing their individual risks and needs in order to prevent homelessness and sustain accommodation.

The role will assist with housing, and other, benefit claims, setting up utilities, meaningful occupation, support to access health care as well as ensuring that new tenants understand their rights and responsibilities as a tenant.

The worker will adhere to all organisational and service lone working procedures, including the use of Guardian 24.

The role will use Inform, the online support planning software to write support plans and maintain records.

The role will involve close partnership working with Opportunity Nottingham Personal development Co-Ordinators and the successful candidate will need a creative approach to maintaining engagement with service users.

The hours of work are generally Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with a degree of flexibility depending on service user need.
