Job description


The Cluster Team is a dispersed service visiting multiple occupant non staffed accommodation every day across Nottingham city. 

The client group has complex needs and may have mental health and substance misuse issues and require support in gaining the skills to move on into independent accommodation. This role involves lone working and recording all work electronically, liaising with support agencies and advocating for service users. Full training will be provided.

We are looking for candidates who can communicate with people in a friendly and welcoming manner. You will need to be reliable and enthusiastic with some experience of dealing with the public in a busy service environment - experience of working in a hostel or similar environment is NOT necessary. Experience of working with alcohol and drug misuse is desirable. The post will involve lone working, and is Monday – Friday, no weekend or shift work.

 The main functions of these roles are:

• To ensure that clients and the building are safe and secure

• To build the skills of service users to empower them in maximising their independence

• To contribute to the achievement of contractual service obligations

• To work in partnership with other agencies to maximise service delivery
