SUPPORT WORKER, STEP UP, SWADLINCOTE, PERMANENT, PART-TIME, FRWK03 £16,915 - £18,430 FTE, 1 X 26HPW (PRO-RATED RATE OF PAY £11,886 - £12,951), 1 x 33HPW (PRO-RATED RATE OF PAY £15,086 - £16,438)

We are looking for Support Workers who would thrive in a young person’s accommodation service, where no two days are ever the same.

You could be part of a team supporting young people to develop their independence, social skills and help raise their aspirations.

You will work on a Rota basis and support young people aged 16-21 to complete daily tasks and learn new life- skills during their transition to independence and into our move-on properties. 

We are looking for permanent Support Workers, various hours available and also Relief Workers to work occasional shifts as needed. Contact service management to find out more about working hours currently available.

You will:

  • work in partnership with various agencies and closely with social care

  • have excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport with young people

  • be dynamic and enthusiastic

  • promote equality and diversity within the service

  • provide a safe and secure environment for young people

  • contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive support package
