You might not have any experience of working in the supported housing sector, but if you can build and maintain positive relationships, communicate well, write a good report, keep effective records and make a positive difference in the lives of the people we work with, we would be interested to hear from you.
Framework’s Stepping Stones service provides supported accommodation in Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Newark and Worksop for individuals affected by a learning disability, mental health condition, a physical disability or an autistic spectrum condition. We work with individuals who are aiming for independent living in the community but don’t quite have the confidence and skills for this yet.
The staff team provides a variety of support via one to ones and the opportunity for group work and activities. This includes managing mental and physical health, budgeting and income maximisation, maintaining a safe and tidy home, finding long-term accommodation, taking part in training, volunteering and employment and accessing groups, activities and support in the local community.
You will have your own caseload of individuals to work through the actions set out on support plans and will be helping them to achieve their goals, develop their skills, confidence and independence.
Stepping Stones operates Monday to Friday during office hours.
