Manchester, Greater Manchester
£18,000 pro rata
Part-time, Temporary
Job description

Freedom for Animals' campaign, ‘Rudolph’s Christmas Wish’, aims to tackle the growing problem of animals such as reindeer and penguins being exploited in festive events. Freedom for Animals carries out annual monitoring of events and supports the actions of local groups to raise awareness of this widely overlooked area of animal use.

You will help us deliver this campaign over the busiest months - September to January. In this role you will work alongside the Director carrying out research, liaising with event organisers including local authorities and supporting grassroots campaigners, as well as attending and documenting festive events that use animals.

In return you will be given the chance to develop a range of skills in campaigning and lobbying, as well as gaining experience of working in a team for a national, animal rights organisation, in a friendly and supportive environment.
