Direct Marketing Executive

Permanent contract - 35 hours per week
Location: London, Finsbury Park
Salary:  £28,808  per annum (inclusive of London Weighting) plus generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and group life assurance

We’re looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to work within our Individual Giving team who bring in £5.7m of income each year. Reporting to the Direct Marketing Manager, you will run supporter acquisition campaigns, donor development and retention projects whilst working closely with the database and supporter care functions as well as external creative agencies.

The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of working in a direct marketing team, preferably within the charity sector, and be experienced across database targeting, segmentation, testing, response analysis, direct mail, telemarketing and email marketing techniques. This role requires excellent attention to detail and good fundraising copywriting skills. The ability to prioritise, manage a busy and demanding workload and use your own initiative is essential. Just as essential is your ability to work directly with our service users, in an appropriate and respectful manner.

In the first instance, please contact Charlotte Hodson (Senior Direct Marketing Executive) at Freedom from Torture's London Centre for an informal discussion about the role.
