Job description

Freeva provides services to people who have been/are affected by domestic and sexual violence.

The Jenkins Centre is a project within Freeva that provides interventions that are designed to help people stop using abusive behaviour. The Jenkins Centre is recruiting for staff for both the Adult interventions team and the Young People's interventions team due to expansion.

Jenkins Centre Young Person's recruitment

We are excited to be recruiting for three Interventions Workers to join our team, and work with us to expand our Young Person’s Intervention Project across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland working with young people and their families to change their behaviours. We are looking for four experienced and self-motivated individuals to join the Jenkins Centre team. 

Interventions Worker

37 hours

£24,646 + 3% pension

 

Interventions Worker

18.5 hours x2

£24,646 + 3% pension (FTE)

 

The successful candidates for the interventions Worker roles must be educated to degree level and/or have relevant work experience. The ideal candidates will have experience of delivering the Respect Young Person’s programme and have experience of working with young people and their families. Evening work and occasional weekend work will be required.

 

Senior Young Persons Intervention Worker

18.5 hours

£27,668 + 3% pension (FTE)

The successful candidate for the Senior role must be educated to degree level and/or have substantial experience working with young people using aggressive and disruptive behaviours and delivering a group work programme. The ideal candidate will have experience of line management, implementing new projects and partnership working.

Adult intervention Worker Recruitment

We are recruiting for two Interventions Workers to join our adult team, and work with us to deliver our accredited group and one-to-one programmes to people who want help changing their abusive behaviour. 

Post one:

37 hours per week

£24,646 pa plus 3%pension

Post two:

20 hours per week

£24,646 pa (FTE) plus 3% pension

The successful candidates must be educated to degree level and/or have relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering group work and managing a caseload of clients. Evening work is required, as currently our groups are delivered every Tuesday and Thursday evening 6pm – 9pm and occasional weekends
