Job description

The Digital Mobilisation Officer role aims to increase the effectiveness of Friends of the Earth’s online actions to engage new supporters and mobilise activists.   

Located in the Campaign Activism team, you will be helping create online actions that drive new supporters to Friends of the Earth and to ultimately help us win our campaigns. You’ll work closely with the Digital Delivery, Marketing and Campaigns teams to ensure our campaigns are utilising the most effective online actions, that the results of actions and tests are clearly communicated and that campaigners have up-to-date skills. 

To help make our actions continually better, testing and experimentation will be a core part of the role. You will be responsible for setting up tests on all of our actions – from simple tests of wording to more complex tests of layout and new action ideas alongside the digital delivery team. 

This is an opportunity to learn new tools, concepts and techniques, and gain a better understanding of how online actions and experimentation can play a role in effective campaigning and recruitment.
