The Programme Management team manages the national logistical and support functions for Frontline programmes, ensuring the central curriculum team and regional teams are well supported to deliver the progamme effectively. The role of DLT within this primarily focuses on the management of digital learning platforms and supporting the design and delivery of teaching content across the Frontline Programme, Consultant Social Worker Training Programme and others.
The Digital Learning Manager oversees Frontline’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and a range of other digital learning platforms, which in turn support classroom and practice based (distant) learning and assessment. Working with the Curriculum team, you’ll also have the opportunity to identify content gaps and develop innovative digital resources to improve the learning experience for participants. You’ll work to support, evaluate and continuously improve Frontline’s platforms including innovating for new programmes.
As the Digital Learning Manager your role will span multiple work streams, you could be advising on new learning platforms and processes, creating content, working with subject matter experts and much more. One of the pivotal parts of this role is managing the project lifecycle of all these streams, communicating progress and being a mentor to develop and further your team.
Frontline is just beginning it's the journey into blended learning. Having made the fast paced and successful transition to online learning in 2020 with a 97% satisfaction rate, Frontline were able to bring forward our long-term digital learning strategy. Having learnt what successful online delivery looks like we are now looking towards creating a high quality blended learning model. DLT are a key part of making this work in collaboration with Curriculum and Delivery Teams. It is an exciting time for the team to drive innovation and quality improvement.
