The Projects coordinator sits within the Programme management team, who are responsible for the effective management and oversight of the national logistical and project management functions of the Frontline programme (a two-year social work training programme that develops excellent social work practice and leadership). The Projects coordinator supports in the organisation and delivery of several key high-quality events and projects that are integral to the Frontline programme’s success, the largest of these being the delivery of our annual 5-week Summer Institute, which will consist of 2 weeks delivered online and 3 weeks delivered residentially.
You will work closely with the Operations manager and Projects officer to ensure that participants on the Frontline programme have a positive and seamless experience of key programme elements, and will support other programme management team staff with other key programme projects where necessary.
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys multi-tasking, problem solving, building relationships, communicating effectively, working with complex data and facilitating projects. This role is fantastic opportunity for someone looking to use and develop their skills in project planning and delivery to transform the lives of vulnerable children.
With the Projects team leading most logistical elements of the Summer Institute, their presence at the Summer Institute will be especially necessary on days where specialist support and event management is required. Please note therefore that travel and overnight stays will be required between July-August. Time-in lieu will be fairly agreed during and around this period with the Operations Manager.
