Full Circle has been operating out of St Pauls since 1980 and was founded in response to the racial profiling and civil unrest to provide positive opportunities for the young people of the area. Over the past 40 years it has become a key youth service locally but also to the wider BME communities in Bristol and the neighbouring counties.

Full Circle @ Docklands Ltd has been continually serving the area for over 40 years and is built on a foundation of longstanding trusted relationships.
The Youth Development Manager is a strategic role that is responsible for the overall delivery of Full Circle’s Youth Services. The youth development manager will manage the overall programme of youth activities, having a clear eye into the future, whilst also supporting the team to deliver the day-to-day activity. Full Circle delivers 20hrs of weekly open access youth clubs, 10 weeks of annually of holiday activities and other targeted projects. As necessary, a lot of this work is now taking place online, remotely and in small face-to-face groups and the candidate will need to be confident and adaptable to utilising digital platforms and keeping ahead of current policy.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the post holder is solely responsible for the staffing, coordination and delivery of all youth staff, sessions and projects and school holiday activities in consultation with the centre manager and the business development manager.
The candidate will encourage and support the personal development of young people and youth staff. They will create a safe space in which they can feel welcomed, have fun and participate in informal learning and play. This will be achieved through the development and delivery of programmes of activities that empower young people to achieve their aspirations. We aim to help young people be aware of their rights and responsibilities to the wider community and enable them to take greater control of their lives.
