The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The primary objectives are to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to our beneficiaries; to develop our regional peer support model; and to facilitate a positive volunteering experience for our lived experience volunteer team. Responsibilities will include the day-to-day coordination of peer support activity. This will involve sensitive communication with trauma-affected individuals to understand their needs and preferences, using this information to facilitate suitable peer support matches.
The postholder will contribute to building a diverse volunteer team by supporting the volunteer recruitment and induction processes. They will offer ongoing support, guidance and motivation to our volunteers, ensuring meaningful opportunities to engage with Day One. The postholder will support the Peer Support Manger to conduct regular reviews with volunteers to gather feedback on their experiences as well as supporting their personal and professional development.
The Peer Support Co-ordinator will monitor service delivery and volunteer activity to ensure it is operating within agreed policies and processes. To ensure we can evidence the success and quality of the service, a key aspect of the role will involve keeping accurate records of interventions as well as collecting regular evaluation/impact data and personal case studies.
You will be a compassionate individual, dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of support for our beneficiaries and volunteers alike. You will be empathic with strong active listening skills, able to demonstrate sensitivity and discretion in your communication with trauma-affected individuals. You will be adept at identifying individual’s support needs and have strong social/communication skills enabling you to facilitate appropriate and meaningful peer support matches. Possessing excellent organisational skills, you will thrive in the fast-paced and reactive environment of peer support service delivery.
You will be committed to maintaining high standards and have a keen eye for detail able to keep accurate records of interventions and collect evaluation/impact data with regularity. Additionally, you will have a proactive approach to building and supporting a diverse volunteer team. You will be a ‘people-person’, enjoy speaking with others, and have the knowledge and confidence to offer ongoing guidance and motivation to our volunteer team. Your ability to conduct regular reviews to gather feedback to support volunteers' personal and professional development will be essential in driving the continued success of our peer support service. We are a large-scale, dynamic, and forward-thinking restoration and hospitality project in the Northwest Highlands with strong philanthropic and community commitments. The heart of our operation is on a remote and beautiful 800-acre island, where we are delivering stunning, sympathetic builds and authentic guest experiences in an area of outstanding scenery.
We run a monitoring programme to capture our social and environmental impact and effectiveness across a range of indicators and are looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to help with this work and become our Impact Coordinator. Our chief areas of charitable engagement include Education, Rural and Community Regeneration, Arts, Culture, Heritage and Science, Environmental Protection and Improvement, and Health and Wellbeing.
The purpose of this role will be the accurate measurement of the effectiveness and social value of the projects we deliver for our owning Charitable Trust. Our Impact Coordinator will work with our internal and external impact team to measure the social value of past, present and future projects, with strategic guidance and support from our leadership team, external advisers, and Trustees.
Storytelling
This role will suit a graduate with degrees, or equivalent experience, in the Social Sciences, Sustainable Development, Management or related fields. This is an opportunity for an ambitious candidate to jump straight into a well-supported role on a big project and produce well-presented, evidence-based stories about the project’s impact using numbers, text, and multimedia for a variety of different audiences.
Data
We gather social value data and KPIs, and have a burgeoning collection of testimonials, feedback, and imagery. We need someone to help build and maintain our qualitative and quantitative data library. This will very much be a “doing” role, involving time spent with spreadsheets and reports, as well as time spent with the team helping them with the same. We are collating the story of the project to date for a key report in Q1 2025.

We have our own growing island community of staff and guests, while also being embedded in mainland life in nearby crofting townships and villages. Your first-rate understanding of orchestral repertoire and a range of contexts and markets will enable you to devise compelling programmes and concert formats in response to and driven by themes which connect classical music with the world of today and meet box office targets. You will be sensitive to the needs of artists and composers, and experienced in working with conductors in creating programmes, whilst also maintaining in-the-round awareness of the complex jigsaw of sometimes competing priorities and restrictions into which any project has to be delivered.
Discovering new artists and musical voices will be something you are passionate about, as will be the shaping of contexts, formats and musical and cultural narratives to give artists the best chance of connecting with audiences. You will be curious about learning and education work, and non-main-stage activity, including digital and immersive projects, and will be thinking collaboratively and pro-actively about their relationship to performances on the concert stage.
You will play a key leadership role in the ongoing transformation of the organisation: ensuring the highest artistic standards based on the unique Philharmonia sound, whilst championing and developing an artistic strategy built around innovation.

Devise and implement the artistic strategy and programme of the Philharmonia Orchestra in close consultation with the Chief Executive, Principal Conductor and Exec Team colleagues

At the core of RABI’s mission is the commitment to address the individual needs of farming people. We offer one-to-one, expert support, advice and guidance, tailored to the individual circumstances of the farming person.
You will be part of a wider Volunteering team responsible for developing our approach to volunteering and engaging stakeholders and partners through local events, shows, talks etc.
We currently involve approximately 500 volunteers who help raise funds and awareness of RABI within local communities. Most of our volunteers are linked to one of our 40 county committees across England & Wales.
You will take the lead for volunteering across a range of projects including the development and implementation of new volunteering systems and processes and the piloting of a new volunteer ambassador programme. The role also includes the line management of the Volunteering Projects Co-ordinator.
Key responsibilities:
Volunteering systems & processes
- As the lead ‘subject matter expert’ for volunteering, you will lead on the implementation of new volunteering systems & processes across RABI. This includes making decisions to support system development, testing, communications and training for users.
- Work closely with the National Volunteering Manager and the team of Regional Managers, to ensure they are equipped and supported to make best use of the new systems.
- Work with the Head of Volunteering and Volunteering Projects Co-ordinator to ensure the appropriate processes and policies are in place to support good practice and an accessible and inclusive volunteering experience.
- Lead on the evaluation of new systems & processes for volunteering and agree clear recommendations / priorities for future development.
Diversify and expand volunteer offer
- Lead on development and implementation of new volunteer roles – including the introduction of community and corporate ambassadors.
- Work with a range of stakeholders to clarify priorities for future development for new types of volunteering – from flexible, micro roles, to more formal roles such as volunteer ambassadors.
- Develop and agree approach to volunteer recruitment, engagement and development – to support ambassadors and other roles.

Team management and leadership
- Work closely with the Head of Volunteering, National Volunteering and Senior Regional Managers to set direction, make decisions and engage the wider team.

The MARAC Coordinator will coordinate, administer, and manage the operation of the MARAC. The marketing programmes currently include face-to-face fundraising (from stands in retail space or at expos/outdoor events), DRTV and other forms of advertising, print – door drops/partially addressed mail/inserts and payroll giving. An important part of the role is developing advertising for the nation’s largest charity appeal, the Poppy Appeal each November.

The Royal British Legion holds a special place in the hearts and minds of generations of people in society. As the largest military charity in the UK and home of the extraordinary Poppy Appeal it has provided support to members of the Armed Forces community for over 100 years. Today is no different. The needs of veterans, young and old, serving personal and their families are growing and complex. To support them we must raise awareness and donations, and that is where you could come in.
We introduced a new fundraising strategy last year to deliver longer term and focused growth, so now is an exciting time to join the charity and help to implement the strategic change and be a key stakeholder or lead in a variety of cross-team workstreams.
As an experienced senior marketing manager, you will hit the ground running to optimally deliver plans with your team and whilst helping to shape programme strategies and review supply requirements. You will need experience of managing and coaching teams and working in a truly collaborative way with colleagues, teams and suppliers, leading by example in accordance with RBL’s values.
You won’t shy away from complexity and getting to grips with the details of the broad array of appeals/products your team will be marketing and associated systems, budgeting, reporting and KPI measurements for each of them. You’ll strive for excellence, ensuring campaigns are compelling and effective and will be able to capably resolve issues at a senior level and take on new challenges.
Our new fundraising strategy is called ‘Three Giants’ to focus our income generation work on protecting and strengthening on the three vital areas of the Poppy Appeal, our Individual Giving and Legacy activities. You’ll be joining a welcoming and capable team focused on serving the thousands of beneficiaries who need our help every day.

You will be contracted to our London Hub, Haig House. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues but with a minimum expectation of two days/week connecting directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub.
