Position: Corporate Fundraising Officer 
Location: London 
Job Type: Permanent, full time 
Salary: circa £30,000

About the role: 

They are seeking a new-business focussed Corporate Fundraising Officer to join the Fundraising team at Amref. The postholder will lead on Amref’s corporate fundraising: building a pipeline, crafting proposals and applications, and securing partnerships with UK companies. 

The role is primarily focused on new business, identifying and securing long-term, strategic partnerships that build on Amref’s success with partners including Accenture, Allen & Overy, Barclays and GSK. The postholder will also be responsible for pursuing opportunities for Charity of the Year, CRM and pro-bono partnerships. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, results-focused and creative candidate with a background in new business fundraising or sales, who is looking to join an ambitious global organisation with a strong track record in delivering unique partnerships. The right candidate will be excited about the opportunity to take ownership of Amref’s corporate fundraising programme, and will look forward to bringing their own ideas and strategy to the Amref team. 

About you: 

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of securing new business in a fundraising or sales environment, with a personal and creative approach to relationship building, management and stewardship of both individuals and organisations. 

You will have strong written and numerical skills, with excellent communication skills and be organised, have a high attention to detail and time management skills.

You will possess good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office software, experience of using Raisers Edge and CMS would be desirable. The ability to manipulate, interpret and analyse quantitative data is essential to this role. 

You may have experience of the following: Corporate Officer, Corporate Fundraising Officer, Corporate Account Executive, Corporate Partnerships, Charity, Third Sector, Not for Profit, etc.
