About the role
As a member of the leadership team, you’ll head up the Communications and Engagement function, overseeing and delivering integrated communications campaigns and ensuring disabled people’s voices are shared widely using inclusive tools and techniques. You’ll be responsible for member engagement, including events, with a focus on growing and diversifying membership, and bringing our community together. You’ll also have responsibility for brand, design, and marketing activity, ensuring this aligns with our values and is accessible.
You will make sure transport justice stays on the agenda, will help ensure that barriers to transport for disabled people are widely known among the public and decision makers, and will grow our movement so that disabled people’s lived experiences will be heard by society in our own words.

JOB TITLE: Corporate Engagement Manager
DEPARTMENT: Fundraising
LOCATION: Based at Challengers Head Office in Guildford, GU1 1TU with flexible working options across our site in Farnham and home/remote working.
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent (open to part time options)
SALARY RANGE: £29-35k FTE
HOUR PER WEEK: 35

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES-This is a key role in a multi-disciplinary fundraising team committed to transforming the lives of disabled children and their families. You will shape and lead a successful corporate partnerships strategy, including a thriving Business Club, and develop compelling asks that reflect our priorities to secure major partnerships and multi-year commitments. To transform the lives of disabled children, young people and their families through the power of play.
You’ll be great if you have:
- A proven track record of securing high-value corporate partnerships.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience of networking at a high level
- Demonstrated success in achieving targets and delivering against ambitious plans.
- Experience in managing a pipeline and using CRM systems to manage and develop relationships

About Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research:
Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research (SMSR) is a small independent charity (Reg Charity No 1183744) based at the National Spinal Injuries Centre, Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The charity is dedicated to improving the day-to-day quality of life for people living with spinal cord injury (SCI) and funds research which will have a tangible impact on the lives of people with SCI, specifically in the following areas:
1) The prevention of urinary tract infections
2) The prevention of neuropathic pain
3) The prevention of pressure ulcers
4) The improvement of upper limb function
The Role:
The role of Individual Giving Fundraiser is a new one, created to maximise the potential of our existing donors, both one-off and regular, and to actively recruit new donors to the charity to develop over time, especially within the spinal cord injury community. The objectives of the role will be to:
· Significantly grow regular giving and one-off individual donations
· Develop and implement new appeals, including Legacy fundraising when appropriate.
· Provide exceptional stewardship to new and existing donors.
· Manage donors on the database ensuring all records are up to date.
Person Specification:
You will have had experience of Individual Giving Fundraising, have outstanding people skills and be familiar with databases, donor development and stewardship. You will be an excellent communicator and a creative thinker and work well in a small team. You will enjoy supporting the occasional event where everyone must ‘muck in’. You will be self-motivated and proactive and be able to manage your own time effectively.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with an amazing disability charity to find their brand-new Senior Supporter Fundraising Executive.
The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working 2 days per week from their London office.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role requires a highly motivated and experienced fundraiser to take responsibility for managing all aspects of individual giving, the London Marathon stewardship and elements of Legacy marketing. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing campaigns to maximise fundraising efforts and ensure the long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement campaigns to cultivate and steward individual donors and regular givers. Responsibility for major donors is held by the Trusts and Philanthropy team.
· Create personalised donor engagement plans to build strong relationships and increase donor retention.
· Identify new opportunities for donor acquisition and develop targeted fundraising campaigns.
· Deliver new fundraising products such as a membership-style value exchange offering.
· Develop and implement effective stewardship programmes to recognise and thank donors for their contributions.
· Provide timely and personalised acknowledgement of donations, including personalised thank-you letters, emails, and phone calls.
· Collaborate with the wider marketing team to create compelling legacy marketing materials and campaigns.
· You will be involved in the London Marathon. Creating and delivering a stewardship programme for runners, including organising support and a post-event party on the day of the event.
Person Specification:
· Experience in fundraising, with a focus on individual giving, stewardship, legacy marketing.
· Experience in managing fundraising campaigns and events.
· Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders.
· Proficiency in using fundraising software and CRM systems.
· Building and maintaining constructive collaborative relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts to achieve identified objectives and outcomes.

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will be a core member of our friendly and busy Digital Marketing & Channels team.
The Digital Marketing & Channels team is set up as Scope’s internal digital marketing agency.
Our job is to help teams across the organisation to reach their goals. We do this primarily through running paid advertising campaigns.
You will work with these teams, our internal clients, to identify and understand their target audiences, create plans to reach the audiences and select efficient channels for our marketing campaigns.

The role
You will be:
- Responding to briefs from a range of internal clients encompassing the Services, Retail, Campaigns, Fundraising and Partnerships teams.
- Creating and optimising pay per click advertising campaigns on Google, Bing, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, amongst other channels.
- Reporting campaign performance to clients weekly and managing their expectations.
- Ensuring campaigns are running within agreed budgets.
- Producing post-campaign wrap up reports.
- Providing training and technical support for users of our email marketing platform.
- Coaching colleagues across the wider organisation on digital marketing best practice.

About you
You will:
- Possess at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the private or third sector, or at a reputable agency.
- Have hands on experience of setting up campaigns on key digital marketing platforms.
- Be comfortable with managing and optimising campaigns with large budgets.
- Be a natural marketer, able to think outside the box in selecting audiences and channels to fulfil marketing objectives.
- Champion the level of digital marketing knowledge in the organisation.
- Be confident in influencing a range of internal stakeholders.
- Possess the ability to coach colleagues and wider teams.
- Be enthusiastic and have a desire to learn.
- Be able to write in simple, concise and clear English.

As Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser (Retention), you will:
- Recruit and retain financial supporters for Scope across a range of Individual Giving Products (regular giving, lottery, payroll giving, cash and raffle) using a mix of channels
- Provide a data and insight-led, audience-focused and rewarding supporter journey that maximises lifetime value of the supporter
- Support the Individual Giving Lead with the strategic development and delivery of the supporter retention and development programme
- Manage the relationship with external suppliers, managing the regular reports, conducting quarterly planning sessions, and being the lead contact for day-to-day activity
Ideal skills and experience:
- Direct experience of a range of direct marketing channels including direct mail, email and telefundraisng
- Strong knowledge of regular giving, lottery and cash supporter retention programme strategies
- Experience of success in delivering results as set out in a departmental budget
- Experience of managing external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver successful campaigns
