The Senior Community Fundraising & Events Coordinator will play a key role in growing and diversifying Brain Research UK’s community fundraising income and supporter engagement.

Working closely with supporters, volunteers, community groups, and internal colleagues, the post-holder will help develop meaningful relationships, deliver engaging fundraising activities and events, and provide an excellent supporter experience.

The role will also support the planning and delivery of bespoke special events for the charity, working alongside the Events and Community Fundraising Manager on event logistics, supplier coordination, budgeting, and event delivery.

Content and Communications Manager

As Content & Communications Manager, you will develop a communications plan and shape the way the Trust connects with its global alumni community, makes the case for support, and tells the story of its impact to donors, partners, and prospects.

This is a pivotal moment for Dialogue Earth. As news organisations continue to retreat from climate coverage and the funding landscape for independent journalism becomes more challenging, we are looking for a Director of Development who can help us strengthen existing funder relationships, build new partnerships and shape our funding strategy for the years ahead.

The Grants and Trusts Manager will play a vital role in growing income from Charitable Trusts, Foundations, and Statutory funding by identifying new funding opportunities, developing compelling, high-quality funding applications, and delivering excellent stewardship. This role will support Lakeland Arts’ artistic, heritage, learning, and engagement programmes across our sites in the Lake District including Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house, Abbot Hall art gallery, and Windermere Jetty Museum. You will collaborate with colleagues to develop strong, place-based cases for support aligned with the charity’s strategic priorities. Key Responsibilities Trusts, Foundations & Statutory Fundraising • Identify, research, and qualify funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies – including Arts Council England - to support the conservation of our artistic, heritage, learning, and engagement activity. • Lead on writing and submitting high-quality funding applications, securing both unrestricted income and project-specific funding aligned with Lakeland Arts’ strategy. • Develop compelling proposals that clearly articulate the significance of our extensive collections, the benefit of public access to these and the value of our heritage, and community impact, using evaluation data, audience insight, and partnership testimonials. • Maintain ownership of a proactive and balanced funding pipeline, ensuring prospects are thoughtfully approached and progressed through the fundraising cycle. The Role

We’re looking for a Regional Corporate Partnership Development Manager to help us strengthen and grow corporate fundraising delivered through the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) Community Fundraising team, supporting our vision of a world where everyone has a healthier heart for longer.

About the role

As a Regional Corporate Partnership Development Manager, you’ll be a key member of the Corporate Partnership team, playing an essential role in building the capability, confidence and consistency of Fundraising Managers across the UK.

This role is all about empowering others to secure and grow high value corporate partnerships. Drawing on your own experience of winning and managing £50k+ partnerships, you’ll coach Fundraising Managers through the full corporate sales cycle from pipeline development and proposition shaping, to pitching, negotiation, contracting and stewardship.

You’ll design and deliver training, embed best practice processes, and create practical toolkits that strengthen regional corporate fundraising. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join the Royal British Legion as a Poppy Appeal Manager for Essex on a 6 month Fixed Term contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to coordinate all aspects of the award winning Poppy Appeal in your area, working closely with the Regional Poppy Appeal Manager to meet agreed income, expenditure, and contribution targets. You will manage relationships with local supporters, partners, and volunteers, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to maximise fundraising efforts and make a lasting impact.

As a key member of the Trusts & Grants team, The Trusts & Grants Fundraiser will work closely with the Trusts & Grants Manager to raise funds from a portfolio of charitable trusts in accordance with Child Bereavement UK’s budgets and targets.

Initiative, creativity, excellent organization and writing skills are required, together with the ability to develop persuasive proposals and nurture effective relationships with key stakeholders across Child Bereavement UK and externally.

This role comes at a particularly important time for CBUK when the charity is looking to evolve and grow services, diversify into new areas, and raise significant funds for ongoing work. The Trusts & Grants Team are a vital part of the charity’s expansion into new areas, and the post-holder will have the opportunity to work with frontline staff to develop new projects and bids.

Main Responsibilities

Leadership

• Create timely and compelling bespoke proposals and applications to charitable and corporate trusts, Lotteries and Government bodies.
• Develop and deliver to donor care plans to provide excellent supporter care to trust funders; aim to involve supporters in the achievement of the Child Bereavement UK mission and maximise the value and longevity of their support – providing accurate and informative reports and invitations to project visits and events where appropriate.
• Support in the development of new case for support and project documents; work with front-line staff to develop new bids and budgets.
• Keep up to date with Child Bereavement UK’s work, key priorities and future plans to effectively match with supporters’ interests and identify opportunities for support.

As the Challenge Events Fundraiser, you will manage the charity’s sporting, runs and challenges event places, working with the fundraisers to maximise income.

You will help shape and deliver our Challenge Events Fundraising strategy. You will develop new ways to engage supporters, review and improve our fundraising events, and make sure our activities are inclusive and impactful.

Main Responsibilities

• Be the main Child Bereavement UK sporting/race/challenge event contact, co-ordinating and managing all event activities with race organisers and participants.
• Manage and deliver fundraising Challenge events and from start to finish
• Work with the Challenge and Mass Programmes Manager to secure and liaise with volunteers for event attendance. Provide suitable volunteer requests and briefings and manage volunteers on event days.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Child Bereavement UK’s Challenge Events Fundraising strategy, embedding an audience-led approach to innovation
• Support the review of performance, opportunities, and help take action to leverage opportunities that maximise income, engagement, and brand exposure, and minimise risk.
• Contribute to driving innovation and identifying opportunities to grow income.
• Support the Special Events team and Regional Fundraising team on Child Bereavement UK events, promoting the events to Challenge Event participants and attending events as and when required.

With gifts in Wills making up around 80% of our income it is crucial for our ability to move towards a future free from arthritis, and this role plays a key part in making sure our pledgers have a brilliant experience with us and understand the impact that their incredible gift will have for people with arthritis. As part of the gifts in Wills team you will sit within the wider Public Fundraising department, a collection of teams who are curious, collaborative and ambitious in our work to grow our income and impact.

About the role

Recently shortlisted for the Excellence in Stewardship Legacy Giving Award, the gifts in Wills team put our supporters at the heart of everything they do. This role is a varied one that collaborates with colleagues and supporters daily. That could be working with our innovation team to maximise marketing opportunities to our Inspire product members, ensuring our website content is a powerful call to action, or working with our supporter journey team to plan an exceptional welcome journey for new gifts in Wills enquirers. You will also be a key point of contact for our supporters, stewarding one-on-one via email, phone or in person, and also working on mass impact communications to retain their support. Since we rebranded to Arthritis UK in October 2025, we have seen a big rise in potential supporters, and you will play a key part in delivering a brilliant experience to them.
