To be successful in this role you must have

About the role

As Virtual Events Manager (Supporter Care) you will lead a dynamic team to deliver exceptional supporter experiences through acquisition campaigns and stewardship journeys of the virtual events programme. You will work closely with the wider fundraising, marketing and innovation team to ensure that there is a high level of engagement across the virtual events programme.

About You

As Supporter Experience Manager, you will help us to champion and improve audience experience across the charity, including our support services, fundraising, campaigns, and marketing activity. Parkinson’s UK – Head of Major Gifts

This role will support and inspire an ambitious and high performing team to build propositions, proposals and pipelines in order to unlock opportunities to engage the charity’s supporters and untap networks across the charity, securing vital funds to underpin their strategic programmes and ambitions for people with Parkinson’s. The post-holder will inspire supporters to give their biggest donation and ensure that the organisation is giving its supporters the best experience possible, delivering an annual income target of £6m+. The role will also play a pivotal part in driving a new multi-year, multi-million pound charity appeal.

Maximising the value and contribution of supporters is fundamental to Parkinson’s UK; building networks, understanding what motivates their supporters, and aligning programmes to their charitable interests is key to the charity’s growth plans for Major Gifts. This role will be critical to leading the philanthropy, trust and statutory, special events and prospect research and insights teams (approximately 18 people) and working with colleagues and leaders across the charity to identify prospects and opportunities to give at a transformational level. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in major gifts fundraising and a proven track record of securing large gifts. They will also have experience of managing a large annual income target and driving continued growth and ensuring targets are met. Strong presentation skills and budgetary skills will be combined with the ability to build positive and high-value relationships across a range of sectors, individuals, organisations and committees. Location: Holborn, London. Hybrid working.

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a Head of Individual Giving to oversee their individual donor, legacy and in memory income streams, currently raising approximately £800k per annum.

Prostate Cancer Research aims to develop and deliver breakthrough medicines and treatments to achieve a world where people are free from the impact of prostate cancer. The charity believes that it is only through research that we can build a future in which no family will have to fear losing a loved one to prostate cancer. In the last four years the charity has expanded the amount of research it funds by four times.

This is a newly created role to increase the impact of the fundraising strategy, lead on its implementation and set the foundations for the future growth in an area of fundraising where the charity believes there is huge potential. It’s also an exciting opportunity to take the results of a current strategic review on individual giving and take the insight and tools gathered to build the individual giving programme and develop a strategy for people, products and campaigns to grow income.

The charity is seeking a professional with a great understanding and track record of success in individual giving and who is keen to explore new audiences and innovative approaches. You will have experience in executing acquisition, retention and growth strategies and of achieving significant income growth through individual donations, in memory and legacy income streams. You will also have strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to maximise new opportunities and help the charity achieves its organisational goals. Finally, you will have a firm belief in the work that Prostate Cancer Research carry out.

Role: Corporate Fundraiser

Contract: Full-time

Hybrid working - 3 days a week in office (Surrey)

Salary: Up to £33,000 p/a depending on experience

A valid driver's license and access to a car is essential for this role

About the role

- As a Corporate Fundraiser you will help streamline the corporate fundraising portfolio and develop relationships with businesses to create opportunities.

- You will also steward your relationships to ensure your donors have the supporter experience.

- You will maintain and update accurate information on the database system and oversee administration linked to corporate fundraising.

About the candidate

- You have experience in client-facing fundraising, account management or sales.

- You'll have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload.

- You'll have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be a team player who can work on their initiative.

- You'll also have a good working knowledge of MS Office and CRM databases.
