 Established in 2019, Podium Analytics is a charity that is creating a world with more sport, less injury.

 We were founded with the belief that, to see the full benefit of sports participation, more needs to be done to address the issue of youth and grassroots sport injury, which is an under-researched, under-resourced and often overlooked issue.  Harnessing the power of data and research, and through education, influence and advocacy, we are creating a revolution in grassroots and youth sport, making players safer and more able to enjoy the sports they love and for longer.

Our work so far has been underpinned by our founding funders and key major supporters, who believe in our unique position in the sporting world and ability to drive change.  In order for us to achieve our mission and the long-term impact that we are striving for, we need to build out and diversify our income base and have made good progress by recently establishing a Donor Advised Fund (DAF).  At this point of our growth, we are seeking a new Director of Fundraising and it will take an experienced philanthropy leader to join us and help shape the next stage of our evolution.

You will be responsible for developing growth strategies, funding opportunities and donor relationships across a diverse portfolio of income streams.  You will therefore need to bring experience of securing gifts and grants, ideally at the 6-figure level or more.  To complement our existing activity, high-value Trusts & Foundations and corporate partnership experience would be a bonus.  

A commitment to our purpose will drive you, as you establish close working relationships with our CEO, Chairman, Trustees and senior management team, to enable the successful delivery of fundraising initiatives and drive opportunities forward.  As a strategic operator with an entrepreneurial and enterprising approach to your work, your track record of actively engaging with existing and potential supporters, and in developing and implementing comprehensive income generation strategies will underpin your ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the charity.  As we are a small charity, this is a very hands-on role so you will therefore need to be comfortable with rolling up your sleeves, working in the detail without losing sight of the big picture, and navigating new or ambiguous areas with a positive and solutions-orientated mindset.

Our client has been caring for local people since 1984. The team now seek a Senior Trust Fundraising Manager for a 12 to 14 month maternity cover contract and Prospectus is excited to lead the search. The new postholder will need to start in post by the end of July 2026.

This role will provide strategic leadership to the Trust Fundraising Team across revenue and capital fundraising from trusts and foundations. The selected candidate will have a demonstrable track record of leading and managing a team responsible for delivering fundraising income and will have excellent experience developing relationships or funding approaches which have led to success. You will have direct experience of raising five and six figure gifts and account managing relationships with supporters of this level.

The Kirkwood provide specialist adult care for anyone affected by a life limiting illness across Kirklees. Their care begins at diagnosis, within their In-Patient Unit and Support & Therapy Centre in Huddersfield, or in patients’ own homes. • Delivering exceptional supporter engagement and stewardship

The Person

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser, ideally with knowledge of legacy and/or in-memory giving. An understanding of the emotional nature of in-memory and legacy is essential. It would also be beneficial to have experience working with a hospice, or healthcare environment within the charity sector.

You should have:

• The ability to work collaboratively, building strong internal and external relationships.
• A flair for handling conversations in a sensitive, compassionate and professional manner.
• Experience in developing engaging campaigns and supporter journeys.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Knowledge of legal processes relating to wills, probate and legacy administration is also desirable.

The Role

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You should also be able to write compelling communications, including applications and proposals.

Previous line management experience is desirable, but most importantly, you should be collaborative, ambitious, and resilient, ready to drive projects forward. This is a diverse role with huge potential to build on historic success and shape the future of Ripon Cathedral!

This is a rare opportunity for a strategic, values-led relationship fundraiser to lead on income generation for Maytree, a unique and internationally respected charity offering life-saving sanctuary to people in suicidal crisis.

Fundraising Lead

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum pro rata
Contract: Permanent, Part-time (3-4 days per week, 0.6-0.8 FTE)
Location: Hybrid working with regular presence at Maytree in London
Additional: Occasional evening meetings and donor events

About the role

This is a senior, strategic and highly relational fundraising role. Working closely with the Managing Director and Trustees, the Fundraising Lead will develop and deliver an ambitious, multi-stream fundraising strategy to secure Maytree's long-term future.

You will lead income generation across trusts and foundations, major donors and philanthropy, alongside ethically grounded individual giving. This role offers real autonomy, senior-level influence and the opportunity to fundraise in a values-led, emotionally intelligent way.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy aligned with Maytree's mission
• Secure income from trusts, foundations, major donors and philanthropists
• Build and steward long-term, values-aligned funder relationships
• Work closely with the Managing Director and Trustees on donor engagement
• Develop compelling cases for support and high-quality applications and reports
• Ensure ethical, sensitive and trauma-informed fundraising practice

About you

You will bring:

• Senior-level fundraising experience with a strong income track record
• Expertise in trusts, foundations and/or major donor fundraising
• Experience developing fundraising strategy, not just delivery
• Excellent written communication and relationship-building skills
• High emotional intelligence and confidence working in sensitive contexts

Desirable: experience in mental health or crisis services; major donor strategy development; knowledge of the UK funding landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver strategic plans for gifts in Wills and in-memory fundraising, aligning with organisational income targets.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team including two direct line reports, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
• Oversee multichannel campaigns, including innovative initiatives like a new TV campaign, ensuring timely delivery within budget and brand guidelines.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders to optimise campaign success and supporter experience.
• Drive stewardship initiatives to strengthen supporter relationships and maximise long-term value.
• Lead budget planning, forecasting, and resource allocation, enhancing team capabilities in financial management.
• Contribute to operational planning and implement the organisation’s new in-memory strategy, ensuring cross-team alignment.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience managing gifts in Wills or in-memory fundraising teams within a charity or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of the fundraising landscape, with the ability to develop innovative and effective marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Skilled in project and budget management, with a track record of achieving financial targets.
• Experienced in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, for supporter segmentation and data analysis.
• Effective people manager who motivates teams and develops talent.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and tactful diplomacy.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Fundraising

• Develop relationships with potential Trusts and Foundations partners.
• Research new trusts and analyse their giving potential and funding priorities and fulfil due diligence requirements.
• Identify and secure opportunities to support the School’s fundraising campaign.
• Liaise directly with key contacts in trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies to establish important dates and criteria in order to strengthen applications.
• Implement all agreed actions with these trusts, including writing and submitting proposals, reports and other relevant information.
• Identify fundable elements of YMS’s work; source and collate information on this work; and package and present it in formations which are suitable for a range of current funders and new prospects.
• Liaise with relevant colleagues within YMS on the development of new projects, identify potential trust and foundation funders for proposed new work.

Donor Stewardship and Development

• Manage The Yehudi Menuhin School’s relationships with a portfolio of existing Trusts and Foundations, whose grants range from 4 to 6 figures.
• Create and regularly review tailored development plans for each allocated trust, identifying and analysing key information to inform actions aimed at maintaining or increasing these trusts’ support.
• Monitor restricted spend alongside colleagues in the finance team and project leaders, to ensure all trust and foundation funds are spent in accordance with the terms of the grant.
• Ensure invitations are issued to appropriate YMS events and accompany invitees to event.

Planning and Reporting

• Develop and monitor income and activity plans for donors and projects.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of donor details and communications on YMS’ fundraising database (Spektrix).
• Contribute to annual target and budget setting.

General Responsibilities

• Understand and support the mission and strategic aims of The Yehudi Menuhin School.
• Contribute to the development of the overall fundraising strategy for The Yehudi Menuhin School.
• Be aware of and abide by all Yehudi Menuhin School policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance at all times with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice.
• Take appropriate responsibility for records held, created or used as part of your work for The Yehudi Menuhin School (paper-based and electronic), as per the Data Protection Act 2018 and other relevant legislation and regulations including GDPR and PECR.
• Undertake other duties as may be reasonably requested of your post.
