Pact is a pioneering national charity that supports prisoners, people with convictions, and their children and families, providing caring and life changing services at every stage of the criminal justice process in court, in prison, on release, and in the community.
This can be a 4 day working role, with the possibility to be 5 days, along with the option to be home working or hybrid, within easy reach of London for meetings with funders.
You will have experience of building and developing Major Donor Fundraiisng. The charity are in the fortunate position of having a strong Major Donor pipeline and lot of well connected supporters.
The Role
Manage existing major supporters, strengthening relationships and engagement through strong stewardship, including producing written reports and organising visits to meet beneficiaries.
Build and manage your own portfolio of major donors.
Develop the legacy strategy and offer, including to the wider base of individual supporters.
Implement a strategic work plan to secure new and repeat core income from family trusts as well as cultivating and maintaining excellent relationships with existing and new grant making Trusts and Foundations.
The Candidate
Experience of working in a fundraising team and with independence to raise funds from individuals and to lead on this area within a charity.
Proven track record and specialism in major donor giving.
Experience of writing proposals and reports.
Experience of researching and cultivating individuals including HNWIs .

This role is offered on a permanent basis paying a salary between £46,771 to £48,858 per annum with flexible hybrid or remote working arrangements in the UK.
The post holder is the lead person responsible for developing 38 Degrees Major Gifts approach and strategy together with the CEO. They are responsible for crafting and operationalising the strategy to achieve strong income growth across high-net-worth individuals, foundations, grant giving institutions and their new higher level regular giving supporter group (Avalanche Network). Reporting to the Campaigns Director, the post holder will work to ensure 38 Degrees is able to better sustain its work by leveraging the support of people able to give more, and institutions who provide progressive campaigning organisations like 38 Degrees with financial support to power a movement to change the country for the better.
They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in working with communities, foundations, and high net worth individuals, and in leading projects that have generated income from fundraising. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience and knowledge in creating plans and strategies for fundraising projects and working with senior management towards strategic income initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the political landscape and an ability to apply political knowledge to develop effective fundraising approaches and tactics.

We are working in partnership with RABI who are looking to appoint an Individual Giving Fundraiser to join their team. In this newly created role, the Individual Giving Fundraiser will be primarily responsible for developing and managing individual giving income, in conjunction with other fundraising disciplines.
At the heart of agriculture and the farming community, RABI provide practical, financial and mental health support across England and Wales, to empower farming people to become financially resilient, so short-term monetary problems don’t create negative life-changing impacts.
The new Individual Giving Fundraiser will join a small, but successful fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory, ensuring that donors receive excellent care. Alongside this you will manage the relationship of their incumbent fundraising agency week by week.
You will have:
- Prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, an understanding of good stewardship practices, donor recruitment and retention, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets from unrestricted donations.
- Effective relationship management and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maximise engagement with donors and supporters. A thorough understanding of individual giving, the donor journey, and individual giving programmes, with experience of working with agencies would be an advantage.
- Marketing or direct marketing experience (e.g. telemarketing) and be able to create and tailor engaging and emotive copy for a range of different channels.
- Planned and delivered activity, managed projects, evaluating results including accurate record keeping using a CRM system.
- A positive and creative approach to work, thriving in a dynamic environment, with a variety of teams, meeting multiple deadlines and the ability to multitask.
We would like to hear from you if you are self-motivated and confident working independently and in a team. With excellent communication skills and good numeracy skills, you will be proficient in MS Office (including Excel and Word) and have a thorough understanding of Data Protection and fundraising regulations, compliance and best practice.
You must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Free car parking is available.

This role will sit within the wider Income and Generation Team and will work closely with colleagues across the Centre to ensure that the approach to Individual and Corporate Giving aligns with the Centre’s ambition to be a community-led organisation, working with the community to develop and implement a person-centred, holistic and integrated model of support, driven by what matters to the community.
This role needs to promote a positive culture of collaboration, creativity and innovation across the organisation as well with external stakeholders. It will play an important role in enabling the team to achieve their strategic goals and contribute to developing the internal culture of the organisation, specifically driving forward a commitment to being a truly antiracist and inclusive organisation and creating space for honest conversations and feedback.
As Individual and Corporate Giving Manager, you will:
- Develop and nurture effective relationships and strategic partnerships with major donors and corporates (in collaboration with the Head of Income Generation and Marketing and CEO), increasing value and loyalty from donors at four and five+ figure level, supporting an income target of £300k
- Steward and recruit individual and corporate donors whilst developing and retaining regular and cash givers
- Build on existing individual donor programmes and corporate relationships and have creative input into the Individual and Corporate Giving strategy that aligns with organisational objectives
- Explore and test new methods for donor recruitment and retention
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience of securing income from Individuals and Corporates including, identifying potential donors, engaging them and securing funding with focus on retention and stewardship
- Strong ability to think creatively about how propositions are pitched to funders
- Experience of crafting compelling appeals/copy
- Thorough knowledge of supporter care and supporter journeys, maximising fundraising potential use of both digital and offline channels
