Our purpose is simple, to save lives at sea. The Commercial Partnerships team supports the RNLI by securing, building and managing corporate partnerships that generate sustainable income, raise awareness of the RNLI brand and its vital water-safety message, and to help us acquire new supporters to fund the RNLI’s lifesaving work.

This is an exciting time to join our award-winning Commercial Partnerships team, as we have a strong portfolio of partners. Building upon previous success in the team (with the likes of Helly Hansen, Ford UK, Yeti and Dryrobe), we are looking to continue to build the scale of partnerships we secure and manage. The team has ambitious income and engagement targets over the next 5 years, and this position is key in helping to ensure our continued growth.

Your role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Partnerships New Business Manager, to join our friendly and ambitious team, to be the lead on new business activity in the team. This role will lead on securing new high-value, multi-faceted, long-term partnerships with companies to support the RNLI’s objectives. This role will build upon recent pipeline development and new business success in the team, through leading on the continuous development and implementation of the new business strategy and plans, further driving improvements and ensuring a sustained focus on pipeline development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, approaching and securing new business at six figure level. You'll ensure we provide excellent management and stewardship of the new business pipeline, provide regular and accurate performance updates against objectives and KPIs, and accurately forecast short, mid and long-term income. You will help to drive creative thinking in the development of proposals to take out to prospective partners.

The location of this role is flexible and can be homebased, but ideally within a commutable distance of Poole, as the successful candidate will be required to travel to Poole and Partner locations on a regular basis (sometimes at short notice) to meet with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

To become our new Senior Partnerships New Business Manager, you will need:

• a proven track record in a fundraising or sales environment,
• demonstrable experience of developing innovative high-value corporate proposals/pitches, and closing deals
• significant experience of securing new business and managing the contracting process

This role requires someone with outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, who is comfortable delivering against targets, working collaboratively with a wide range of teams, presenting, building networks and working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. Previous management experience that includes financial and performance reporting, multi-year income pipeline management and managing geographically diverse teams would be advantageous.

About the role

As our Philanthropy Officer, you will support the delivery of our major donor programme, helping to steward a committed community of donors and ensuring that relationships, communications and records are managed accurately and professionally.

This is an exciting opportunity to help Cambridge City Foodbank realise its vision of ending the need for foodbanks, through an ambitious strategy operating through networks of affordable food clubs, foodbank welcome centres, holistic support projects, and campaigning to change current systems which contribute to food insecurity.

Your tasks will include stewardship communications with individual donors and creating assets for community supporters to generate food and financial resources. You will assist the securing of income from grant giving trusts and foundations, and will undertake key executive assistant duties on behalf of the Development Director and CEO.

Main Duties:

● Develop strong individual donor relations through regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals, alongside establishing the associated data and systems;

● Create community development assets, which enables community groups to engage with and provide resources for the Charity, such as for charitable fundraising / food donation events.

● Together with the Development Director and CEO, secure income from, and maintain relations with grant giving trusts and foundations.

● Together with the Development Director and CEO, develop a team of volunteers who can support the work of the Charity’s development function.

● Support the Development Director and CEO, in their communication with supporters and corporate partners, to build good relations, gain and maintain corporate partner support.

● Liaise with colleagues across the Trussell Trust network; sharing best practice and participating in learning opportunities, to further the work of Cambridge City Foodbank.

● Other administrative activities may be requested from time to time by the CEO and Development Director, consistent with the needs of the Charity and role of Executive Assistant.

Personal Specification:

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

● Strong administrative experience, highly organised, and able to effectively juggle multiple administrative tasks at the same time!

● Competent in the use of Zoom/Teams and MS Office software. Training will be provided to upskill in the use of Canva, Mailchimp, donor databases and social media (such as LinkedIn and Instagram).

● Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills, you will inspire and motivate existing and prospective supporters, providing excellent stewardship and crafting compelling donor updates, applications and appeals.

NB. Experience of charitable fundraising is not essential when demonstrating the strong transferable skills above. Training will be provided.

About the role 

We're looking for a proactive, organised and relationship-focused Partnership Officer to join our growing Brand & Corporate Partnerships team.

This role would suit someone with experience in partnerships, business development, fundraising, account management or sales who is excited by the prospect of combining commercial relationship-building with meaningful social impact. 

Job Description  

The Partnership Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation team and wider central team, with a responsibility to help meet the needs of our existing partnerships and support in fulfilling the charity’s income generation plans and strategy. 

Key Responsibilities 

You will support the management of our brand partners, working with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships. Your role will be to source new brand relationships, set up meetings for the team and support existing brand partnerships. 

• Work closely with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships to identify and outreach to target brand partners, working to engage their support for the charity

• Account management of new and existing partners 

• Meticulous record keeping, ensuring the pipeline and the opportunity database are current and up to date.

• Contribute to the organisation and team's annual plans, strategies, and budgets. 

• Develop, monitor, and maintain systems and processes including Salesforce and account management plans. 

• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and partner impact reports.

• Understand and support the vision, mission, and values of The Hygiene Bank. 

• Reflect our inclusive culture in your day-to-day work and support a values-led, positive, health & safety and safeguarding culture in your interactions with colleagues and the volunteers.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise 

• Excellent relationship management and stewardship resulting in demonstrable account growth. 

• Effective account management or sales experience with brand and corporate partners across a variety of sectors.

• Experience using creativity and innovation to diversify income from partners, resulting in growth. 

• Outstanding communication skills and polished presentation and people skills to champion, and act as an ambassador for The Hygiene Bank in the business world, including preparing and leading presentations. 

• Detail-driven, strategic, motivated, with a forward-leaning approach to business. 

• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritise a busy workload. 

• Outstanding written communication skills and experience in developing compelling proposals and collateral. 

• Experience working with internal stakeholder teams to help ensure partnership deliverables are met. 

• Passion for personal and professional development, as well as a proven can-do attitude to get involved in various aspects of fundraising delivery, as needed.

Content and Communications Manager

As Content & Communications Manager, you will develop a communications plan and shape the way the Trust connects with its global alumni community, makes the case for support, and tells the story of its impact to donors, partners, and prospects.

Working closely with the CEO and Director of Alumni Engagement and Regular Giving, you will lead the development of high-quality content across the full fundraising lifecycle, from articulating a compelling Case for Support and crafting tailored donor materials, to designing campaigns that drive regular giving participation and ensuring every event is supported by communications that reinforce engagement and stewardship.

This is a role for a creative, audience-focused communicator who understands how great storytelling drives philanthropic action. You will own all communications channels, email, web, social and beyond, and act as the guardian of the Trust's tone, brand and editorial standards, ensuring that everything produced reflects the heritage, quality and ambition of one of Britain's most storied institutions.

Prospect Research and Data Lead
£45,000 - £50,000 ( depending on experience)

You will help develop the data systems, prospect research and development capability required to support an ambitious and expanding advancement programme. You will also play a key role in supporting donor stewardship and ensuring appropriate oversight of reputational and compliance considerations.

You will be responsible for the full prospect management cycle: building and expanding the pipeline through proactive identification, developing capacity rating frameworks, producing high-quality research briefings for leadership, and providing due diligence and gift acceptance analysis that safeguards the Trust's reputation. As the organisation's database lead and GDPR lead, you will also be responsible for the integrity, governance and ongoing optimisation of the CRM, embedding a culture of data excellence across the team.
