About the role:

This role solely focuses on new business development for income generating corporate partnerships. The goal is to secure a range of 6 and 7-figure, long-term partnerships via companies and their foundations which transform children’s lives in some of the most challenging contexts.

Key areas of responsibility include:  

• Deliver against ambitious targets to deliver high value partnerships and donations from businesses by developing 6 and 7-figure multi-year partnerships.
• Create inspiring propositions, products and engagement opportunities that inspire and engage the private sector.
• Unearth prospects and opportunities and cultivate them to feed a self-managed pipeline.
• Use creativity to target and engage prospects.
• Lead prospect meetings and pitches and develop tactics to move businesses towards partnership.
• Communicate proactively with prospects and use problem-solving approaches that enable you to create tailored effective proposals.

• Influence in each stage of the solicitation process, able to lead throughout the pitch and development stage and to negotiate on contracts and proposals.

About you:

We are seeking an established corporate fundraiser with a professional background or education in international development, humanitarian, or peacebuilding. You will have an income-focused mindset, proactive and broad business development experience, and will have developed international charity-corporate partnerships.

You will have a startup mentality, working with limited resources to find ways to engage businesses with World Vision’s work. You will have the freedom to develop and implement engagement and partnership development tactics, and to use creative approaches. Your approaches will overcome World Vision’s lower brand awareness in comparison to other child-focused international causes.

Alongside this, you will have great attention to detail that is necessary to support proposal, budget, and contract development to effectively reflect World Vision and the prospective partner’s interests. For this, you will have great writing and presenting skills, that enable you to develop strong relationships based on mutual interest and trust.

You will be able to balance conflicting priorities, manage a pipeline of prospects, and adopt a proactive and long-term approach to creating leads and partnerships.

Community Advice Works is an established community charity based in New Cross in South
East London. As the only charity in the London Borough of Lewisham offering a general

Key duties

Our Corporate Support Coordinator plays a key role in developing and implementing a compelling package for businesses and organisations to support FareShare GM, which includes running corporate days (team building and volunteering in the FSGM operation) as well as other ways for organisations to engage with us such as sponsorship, fundraising activities, events and so on.

About the role

Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.

The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.

This will span three main projects:

· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);

· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and

· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.

Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.

Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.

You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.

This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.

We are looking for an experienced Volunteer Manager to support and inspire those who volunteer for the charity. You will lead them in line with the vision, mission and values of the charity and work to fulfil the goals of our strategic plan. You will strengthen our current volunteering strands with effective governance and great communication and will develop new volunteering opportunities within the charity.

You will manage our volunteer-led Branches and Support groups who offer peer support, fundraising opportunities and activities locally. We are looking for someone with strong volunteer management skills who has experience of training volunteers and of writing policies, procedures and guidance in line with data protection guidance. There will be regular evening and weekend work as many of our volunteers work themselves so need the support out of office hours. There will be a need for travel across England and Wales.

The role: Fundraising Manager

We are seeking a Fundraising Manager with a passion for our mission, who will build positive relationships to secure significant income, working together to harness the power of adventure to create lasting change and transform communities for all.

This is a new role, leading our small but growing Fundraising Team, and having a real input into our plans and strategies for the future. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will oversee all fundraising income generation activity and lead on our Major Donor Giving Programme. A typical week could involve meeting with prospective donors, developing a case for support for a new stream of work, supporting team members to develop their own fundraising skills, and working with other departments to raise awareness of Bendrigg’s work.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fundraiser to join and lead a forward-thinking and inclusive team and develop Bendrigg’s fundraising to support our new Strategic Plan. This opportunity is open to those wishing to work remotely (there would be an expectation to attend the office for a minimum of 2 weeks during the induction process, and thereafter at least 3 days per month throughout the year), looking for a hybrid working pattern or wanting to be fully office-based. The role is full time, however part-time on a minimum of 0.8FTE would be considered for the ideal candidate.

· Parental leave: We understand that you may need time to settle children into a new school, or you may want to spend more time with a child. Bendrigg offers 18 weeks unpaid leave for each child up to their 18th birthday (maximum of 4 weeks per year).

· Emergency Dependant & Compassionate leave: Up to 5 paid days per year
