GamCare is the largest national provider of information, advice, support and treatment for anyone affected by gambling related harm. Established for over 20 years, we run the National Gambling Helpline and deliver a national treatment service across the UK for anyone affected.
GamCare has grown significantly in the last year and consequently an opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic and innovative Head of Development to support growth and improvement at the organisation as part of the Development team.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in delivering business improvements working across organisational functions to identify opportunities for development and project managing their implementation. You will have a can-do attitude, willing to pick up and run with work across a range of activities, teams and directorates. A skilled communicator, you will lead change passionately through the organisation, identifying barriers to it and overcoming them.
An experienced fundraiser and bid writer, with a demonstrable track record of generating revenue from trusts and foundations, statutory funding sources, and corporates in particular, the post-holder will lead on the income generation strategy for the charity. You will be skilled at analysing and prioritising opportunities for growth - both internal and external - and establishing buy in to deliver it.
This role is subject to a DBS check.
