GamCare is the UK’s leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling-related harms.
We have recently been awarded new funding for the delivery of a two-year Criminal Justice (CJ) and Gambling Harm Programme, which will take forward GamCare’s previous, successful work in this area. The Programme aims to: raise awareness of the links between gambling and crime through training and engaging CJ professionals; facilitate stakeholder thought leadership; explore and test new approaches to support people in the CJ system affected by gambling; and evaluate insights and embed best practice.
The Programme Manager role will have overall responsibility for managing the Programmes’ resources, activities and development. The successful post holder will be required to engage with external stakeholders across the CJ system, in order to drive forward the issue of gambling harm and crime, and explore and develop solutions and opportunities in this bespoke area of need.
The post-holder will need to have CJ experience, skills in managing projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders, and be a confident communicator at senior level.
Team structure: Programme Manager, Programme Coordinator, Training and Engagement Lead, Monitoring and Research Lead, and Communications support.
