Quality and Performance Manager (Youth Outreach Programme)

GamCare is the UK’s leading provider of advice and support to problem gamblers and their loved ones. Its flagship Youth Outreach Programme “BigDeal” is expanding, and a new support service for young people will be launched in April 2020. The programme is designed to deliver education to young people on safe gambling choices over the next four years. 

GamCare seeks a Quality and Performance Manager to lead and support the Youth Outreach Team to deliver exceptional outcomes as the Youth Outreach Programme enters an exciting new phase.  Some of the Outreach Team are directly employed by GamCare, and some by our regional partners, so the role will involve managing the dynamics of a team that works in different places and in different ways.

The successful candidate will be an inspiring team leader who champions continuous learning and development in a fast-paced environment.  They will have experience with reporting and governance, and the ability to manage complex relationships with multi-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the youth outreach team, ensuring targets are met and the team is motivated and connected
  • Utilise and develop our existing systems and processes for quality assurance and governance
  • Use data strategically and effectively with the team to ensure that targets are reached, a learning culture is embedded, and that services are responsive and effective.
  • Build on existing evaluation and impact measurement work to ensure that the programme can effectively communicate impact and ensure continuous improvement
