Job description

Gaucher Disease is an ultra rare, inherited metabolic disorder affecting approximately 1 in 100,000 of the general population. 

The Gauchers Association, founded in 1991, is the only registered UK charity providing support to individuals and families affected by Gaucher Disease, acting as the centre-point for the Gaucher community.

The Association is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Chief Executive, to lead our small but passionate team and help shape the future of the Association.

We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership and motivational qualities and a strong track record in team management.

Experience of charitable work and engagement with third party stakeholders in the health and regulatory sectors is highly desirable.

All members of staff are expected to share a commitment to and passion for our aim to improve the lives of those affected by Gaucher Disease.
