Interim Advice Service Manager – Gingerbread Single Parent Helpline
Up to 35 hours (negotiable), up to 6 months contract £36,500.00 (pro rata for part time working) until 31/03/21
Kentish Town, London/ temporarily home based
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced advice service/ helpline manager to join a high-performing and influential service delivery team at Gingerbread and play a crucial role in helping us to make a real difference to the lives of single parents.
The Interim Advice Service Manager will work towards and champion Gingerbread’s vision of a society in which single parent families are valued and where they and their children are treated equally and fairly.
The Interim Advice Service Manager will hold the operational management of the Single Parent Helpline, our current digital advice offer, and contribute to developments within the Advice Service team.

In this role you will be joining Gingerbread at an exciting time having recently celebrated our 100th year, and launched a new organisational strategy and Change Framework which puts the voice of single parents at the heart of what we do.
You will have demonstrable experience of managing an advice service or helpline, overseeing day to day operational delivery of a service, line managing advice workers, delivering quality assurance, and ensuring the achievement of targets and KPIs. This will involve balancing priorities and competing deadlines. You will have an eye for detail and have excellent IT and report writing/ data analysis skills.
