GIPSIL is a community based organisation and are lead provider of housing and support services to vulnerable adults, young people and young people leaving care in Leeds; we also provide wellbeing support to children in a school setting.
We deliver outstanding and well-respected services to children, young people and families in multiple settings through our Community, Health, Prevention including counselling and wellbeing work under The Beck brand. We also lead the cross-city consortium for housing support, Our Way Leeds. This role sits within the Senior Leadership Team reporting directly to the Director of Services with a clear remit for overseeing all of our Community, Health and Prevention work.
This work is an exciting new developing focus for the organisation, recognising the excellent work we have done across the city in the last decade and seeking to build on it.
The ideal candidate will understand how Community, Health and Prevention work together to provide early help for the people we work with, meeting our ambition to support people as early as we possibly can.
As this is an area of development for us as an organisation the ideal candidate will also have a track record of identifying gaps in service delivery and working collaboratively and co-producing solutions, finding and securing appropriate funding to meet this need.
