Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced industry professional to join a developing team in a dynamic and multi-faceted environment at Foxlease Activity Centre in Hampshire.

Foxlease is part of a group of Activity Centres across the UK owned and operated by Girlguiding for the benefit of both members and the wider public. The centre combines the charm of a Georgian manor house complete with ensuite bedrooms & meeting facilities, with classic bunkhouse and campsite accommodation and the high-energy thrills of adventurous activities. Surrounded by the beauty of the New Forest, Foxlease provides fun and engaging events, adventurous activity programmes and a variety of training opportunities for a wide range of customer including Girlguiding members, school groups, corporate clients, and families.

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will have exceptional leadership skills and experience in motivating and developing a diverse team of people. In addition, you will demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and hold a sound knowledge of hospitality and centre operations. Daily life is extremely fast-paced, and the role spans multi-departments including catering, housekeeping, guest bookings, bar and retail, and activity delivery in an outdoor setting. You will therefore possess a positive, adaptable, and proactive personality and be organised and disciplined with a sharp eye for detail. Furthermore, you will demonstrate good Health and Safety knowledge, confident decision making and strong financial awareness with the ability to manage multi-department budgets.
