Job description

Trefoil Guild is looking for a motivated self-starter to join the Trefoil Guild Office, reporting to the Office Manager on a fixed term contract until the end of 2022. In this role, you will be working closely with key Board Members to deliver high quality customer service to nearly 18,000 members.

Trefoil Guild is a branch of Girlguiding and its members agree to support the guiding ethos - including the pledge to help other people. Many members pass on their skills and knowledge to local guiding units, from helping Brownies work towards a badge to preparing older girls for a camping adventure. Many Trefoil members are unit leaders or helpers in Girlguiding units. But Trefoil is not all about the girls, there are plenty of opportunities for members to try something new or personal challenges.

Across the UK, there are over 1,100 Trefoil Guilds with over 18,000 members - some meet every month, others more frequently, perhaps in the evening or in the afternoon. 

As a member of staff, based in the Girlguiding building in London the role will include assisting the National Chairman and individual voluntary office holders to carry out their roles effectively; the role will Administrative tasks include supporting the volunteer Editorial team of The Trefoil magazine and maintaining the national profile of the Trefoil Guild.

The successful candidate will be someone who, has good organisational skills, an eye for detail and can show initiative. You will be able to bring experience working as an administrator.
