Are you an experienced team support officer? Would you like to work in a project environment supporting large projects? Could you support project managers to author meaningful project documentation and monitor delivery against plan? Can you provide secretariat support to governance boards? Are you excited to use your talents to help Girlguiding meet its objectives and help girls have amazing experiences?
Girlguiding is recruiting for two Portfolio Support Officers to join the Transformation Team. The Portfolio Support Officers are key roles in the team, providing project management and secretariat support across programmes and projects to support the delivery of Girlguiding’s strategic plan.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Girlguiding as we embark on year three of our new strategy and portfolio of change initiatives. We are looking for individuals with strong administrative, analytical and people skills, who are committed to making a real difference to Girlguiding’s members. We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience of working in a project management environment, with experience of reporting, supporting governance meetings and maintaining project documentation. This is a great next step with the opportunity to manage small workstreams and gain on-the job project management coaching and training.
The roles are based in the Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and will work across the portfolio; working closely with the Portfolio Office Manager, Project Managers and Project Leads. The Transformation PMO function leads on the adoption of best practice, standards and provides support across the Transformation Portfolio.
