About the role
We’re excited to be hiring a campaigner for our London office to work on our new campaign to ensure companies are held to account for their role in blocking action to tackle climate breakdown.
You will play a key role in developing this campaign, which will investigate and expose how polluting industries are promoting false solutions to the climate crisis. You will also be campaigning for corporates to be held liable for intentionally spreading disinformation about what effective climate action looks like.
Our team is developing and we are currently seeking additional funding for this new campaign.
You will bring your knowledge and experience to bring successful campaigns to make companies or other actors accountable for their impact on human rights, the environment and/ or the climate.
You will be passionate in ensuring that companies are held to account for misleading Net Zero pledges and their role in over-hyping false climate solutions like offsetting and geo-engineering and you will be motivated to fight for new or improved laws that would force polluting industries to genuinely reduce their emissions.
You are an excellent communicator and use your strong interpersonal skills to build and maximise relationships with other NGOs and in coalition. Team working is critical in this role, therefore you thrive in an environment where you frequently work with others to achieve impact.

This role is based in Bethnal Green, London and therefore to be considered for this role you must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Currently due to COVID, we are working remotely and have the flexibility to do so until the end of 2021.
