Job description

A leading health charity are recruiting for an Associate Director of Technology to provide strategic direction and leadership on the society's technology and infrastructure provision.

You will be accountable for a set of strategic plans that deliver efficient and effective digital tools and capabilities and fit for purpose workplaces, aligned with with Corporate Strategy. You'll also have responsibility for the technology teams (IT and Data) and Property and Facilities teams and will lead on transformation projects that will modernise technology and workplaces.

Key responsibilities

  • As a senior leader, you have corporate accountability for the operational, day to day success of the organisation and its continued growth and development
  • Develop strategic plans across technology and infrastructure that are aligned with the corporate strategy
  • Lead on and be accountable for transformation programmes, this includes modernisation of IT infrastructure, business systems and data capabilities, and the provision of a fit for purpose office property portfolio
  • Champion a culture of data quality, deliver measure improvements in data quality through tools, standards, and ways of working to enable the organisation to be evidence-led
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction on digital tools and capabilities and on workplaces
  • Lead the management of risk and compliance ensuring that the organisation meets internal and external requirements as a charity, employer, and a service provider
  • Actively remove siloed working and connect people, project, insight, and trusted expertise to embed better workplace impactful results

What do you need to apply to this role?

  • Proven ability to manage complex IT architectures and systems
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of large and complex systems implementation
  • Experience of CMS and CRM products, data transfer methods and protocols and data security protocols
  • Experience of contract management, contract negotiation and vendor management
  • An ability to work with stakeholder groups to successfully lead and embed change
