£25,000 per annum pro rata
Fixed-term contract for seven months
Based in Central London, WC1N

Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity is currently engaged in a complex CRM business transformation and change management programme. From April 2017, teams will commence transferal from Raiser’s Edge to the new Salesforce CRM. The current Data Assistant role will provide support and a customer service focused, strongly collaborative and professional database income imports and data quality management service to the charity’s internal marketing and fundraising customers and external suppliers.

The team’s core services include: ensuring all suppliers’ income and non-financial imports files are imported in a timely fashion, to schedule, using the current supplier xml schema, utilities, Mapforce and Importamatic (millions of transactions annually) and supporting their elements for RE projects as part of larger project team/s (e.g. CRM project).

The Database Assistant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the data that is held in, imported to and exported from the charity’s fundraising and CRM application, Raiser’s Edge. The role is technical and involves running imports and exports of large volumes of data, regular manipulation of data, monitoring quality of data and carrying out administrative tasks on Raiser’s Edge, such as updating and amending records.
