The award-winning ISM is the dynamic, change making professional membership body for musicians. With a current membership of over 11,000, the ISM is known for its campaigning work as well as services to musicians ranging from legal support and representation to counselling and professional development.
The ISM is now looking for an Assistant to the SLT who will carry out a broad range of duties, from working with the CEO on external affairs and diary management through to being involved in all aspects of Board meetings and looking after the ISM’s offices. You will be comfortable working at a senior level liaising with a wide range of people from Board members to politicians and have excellent interpersonal skills and great attention to detail. These are newly created administrative roles to increase capacity in Londonwide LMCs, the membership organisation representing approximately 7,000 NHS General Practitioners in nearly 1,200 practice teams in London, providing pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its members. The Governance Administrator is an integral role at the College as you will provide administrative support to the Governance and Committees team, ensuring core College activities are delivered and that the Annual General Meeting is supported to the highest standards.
As Governance Administrator, you will support with the administration for the Board of Trustees, including the organising of meetings, meeting preparation (agenda/minutes etc) and handling all enquiries on the phone, via email and in person. You will also liaise with internal and external suppliers to organise catering, audio visual requirements and to arrange appropriate room setups.
Reporting to the Governance and Committees Manager, you will support with the College’s members elections, appointments and appraisal process to ensure that the process runs smoothly, whilst assisting with the tracking of diversity in RCPCH Committees and Volunteers. You will also support the ongoing improvement of volunteer recruitment, retention and reward.
As well as assisting the Committees/Governance Teams in website editing, SharePoint and with the administration of various board platforms to enhance digital collaboration, you will help by streamlining content management and optimising the overall efficiency of our online presence.
Educated to a good standard, you should have substantial administrative, interpersonal and communication skills, and be capable of presenting information in a fluent and persuasive manner to people at a range of levels.
With outstanding organisational skills, you should have proven experience of supporting either large scale events (such as an AGM) or smaller Committee meetings.
You should also have experience of running online meetings (Zoom, MS Teams or other online platforms) and have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Job purpose
This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial sustainability and integrity of LGT, developing resilient foundations for our front-line services, community development, policy and campaigns work to grow in scale and impact.
Working closely with the CEO, Project and Team Leads, you’ll lead all aspects of financial management from budgeting, accounting and compliance, financial management of grants, to reporting to the Finance Committee to support the Board of Trustees and leadership with financial planning and decision making. About the post of CEO
You will report directly to the Board of Trustees, ensuring excellent governance of the Charity, regulatory compliance with the Charity Commission and Companies House, and will collaborate with Trustees on designing and executing the 2024-2027 strategy. JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategy and Operations
1. Develop, implement, and lead execution of the charity's annual operational plan and 3-year strategic plan.
2. Identify appropriate level of staffing, volunteering, ensuring that all staff and volunteers are appropriately interviewed, vetted, inducted, trained, developed, and supported to deliver against their objectives.
3. Ensure appropriate upkeep, security, and management of the charity’s premises, including all relevant contracts and payments.

Person Specification
- An active Christian, passionate about personally representing the values and beliefs of Resurgo, and our mission to equip and support organisations to play a meaningful part in the repair of our social fabric.
- At least two year’s experience working in an administrative role working with senior leaders, preferably an EA or PA role
- Remarkably efficient with high attention to detail and strong organisational skills; someone who is self-motivated and likes to achieve results
- Confident, calm, diplomatic and confidential, with a mature and flexible approach to work and work relationships
- A proactive forward planner with an ability to anticipate needs ahead of time and work well under pressure
- High emotional intelligence with evidence of a clear understanding of how to use telephone, email, written and verbal communication to build strong working relationships
Key Responsibilities
Personal Administration Support
- Manage the Chief Executive’s diary, optimising the efficient use of time and resources through effective planning and ‘gate-keeping’ in a relational style that represents the charity’s values
- Ensure all necessary briefing papers and documents are compiled for the Chief Executive in good time in advance of meetings
- Prepare and present excellent Powerpoint and other presentations for internal and external audiences, e.g., meetings with donors, trustees and other key stakeholders.
Governance Support
- Co-ordinate and attend Trustees’ meetings, including arranging dates, preparing papers in advance, taking and sending out minutes
- Administrate the Investors’, Communications, Fundraising, Strategy and Finance, and other Trustee Steering Groups
- Support with various ad hoc projects to enable robust organisational governance
- Coordinate the Strategic Delivery team monthly meeting, and Senior Leadership Team weekly meeting, including organising meeting dates, preparing agendas and sending out minutes, as well as ensuring follow-up actions are completed
- Provide administrative support to the wider senior leadership team
Active Participation in the Philanthropy and wider Resurgo Mission

- Help build and develop Resurgo’s ethos and Christian life as a team member.

The Central Service Coordinator will ensure Gaddum delivers its organisational objectives by coordinating efficient and effective Human Resources, People and Central workstreams.

- A degree in a relevant subject with experience working in the field of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs)

- Substantive experience in designing and leading research projects and of communicating research results to different audiences

This role is a reimagined role replacing the current job holder who has been in post for over 4 years and is moving on in their career. The incoming post holder will work within the 5 person UK’s Programme and Advocacy team and will lead, advise and support the team in relation to Lepra’s research and M& E profile.

We have fully embraced flexible working and the role can be either fully remote, hybrid or fully based at our Colchester offices. We also offer 26 days annual leave plus public holidays (pro-rated), pension, and support from an in-house well-being team.
