Do you have previous grant making experience and want to make a difference in the East End?
The East End Community Foundation (EECF) is a grant maker and philanthopy advisor that has been based in the East End of London for the past 25 years.
Following a merger in 2012, EECF has grown its grant making by 80% and we are looking for a dedicated and motivated person to join our Grants & Community Engagement Team. Our grants range from £200 to £20,000 supporting local projects in Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets delivering vital work to increase employment, improve education and learning and develop community cohesion.
Working as part of a small committed team you will ensure EECF delivers an accessible and credible grants service by;
- Providing information, advice, guidance, feedback and support to potential grant applicants and grant recipients
- Delivering community workshops and attending events
- Assessing requests for funding
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of our grant making
This is a great opportunity for someone with grant making experience, who is a confident communicator and team player. The ideal candidate will be highly efficient with the ability to work to strict deadlines, demonstrate strong organisational skills and build positive relationships with local community organisations.
