Fundraising Training & Compliance Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Fundraising Training and Compliance Executive to join our Committed Giving Team. The role reports into the Fundraising Training and Compliance Manager and will support in the creation and delivery of engaging fundraising training as well as monitoring the performance of ongoing compliance programmes. This role will also support wider fundraiser engagement initiatives such as organising hospital and patient family inspirational speakers and fundraiser thank you events.

About the Team

The Committed Giving Team is a high achieving, fast-paced team responsible for the acquisition and retention of committed/ regular donors. The team (13 people) work across 4 key areas; Acquisition, Direct Dialogue Acquisition (Face to Face channels), Stewardship, and Fundraising Training & Compliance. The team work closely together with the shared aim of delivering exceptional supporter experience and raising the reliable income the hospital needs to help provide extraordinary care for seriously ill children and their families.

About You

You will be creative, self-motivated, and organised with knowledge of the Fundraising Code, and the ability to work well with a wide range of people with respect and sensitivity to their needs.

The ideal candidate will also have:

- Some experiences either leading or supporting group training sessions
- Experience creating fundraiser engagement communications such as monthly newsletters, certificates, and posters
- Basic understanding of key regulatory requirements such as GDPR
- Some experience writing reports and/ or monitoring project outcomes
- A passion for exceptional donor experience
