Job description
Are you passionate about community fundraising and driving income growth from small businesses? Do you want to join a dynamic and expanding team embarking on a new strategy to reach even more supporters all over the country? If so, this role is definitely for you!

The main focus of this role is to drive income growth from local companies, clubs and groups across the UK by creating a pipeline of new business opportunities. Working closely with the other areas of community and corporate fundraising across the charity, this role will develop compelling partnership propositions to bring the excellent work of GOSH Charity alive for new supporters. No two days will be the same.

About the Team

The Community Fundraising team is a crucial part of the Public Fundraising department, raising vital income from clubs, companies and individuals from all over the UK. This vibrant team of 15 is split into four main areas, each focussing on a different aspect of community engagement.

This role sits within Regional Partnerships, whose purpose is to drive income from local companies and clubs across the UK.

About You

You will be a dynamic, creative fundraiser with demonstrable experience in driving new business from companies, clubs or groups.

The ideal candidate will also have:

- Experience of forging new fundraising partnerships with companies, clubs or groups, from prospect researching through to pitching
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to develop compelling partnership proposals
- Proven ability in successfully delivering income growth
- A real passion for teamworking and collaboration to drive results
- Meticulous attention to detail and data management to drive a new supporter pipeline
- A real passion for working in public fundraising and delivering engaging and inspiring supporter experiences

Our approach to hybrid working

This role is based in our Central London office (WC1N, opposite Russell Square underground) with the option to work remotely up to three days a week.
