One of the UK’s most inspiring and best known faith-based organisations is looking for an experienced PR and Communications Assistant to provide administrative, monitoring, evaluation and content creation support.

This role will be part of a busy team that raises awareness of The Salvation Army as a church and charity committed to social justice whose work includes running food banks, helping people who are homeless and supporting survivors of modern slavery.

To be successful in this role you will need to be an enthusiastic and confident self-starter with strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills. The ability to deliver accurate work while under pressure and to tight deadlines is a must and experience in dealing with journalists would be an advantage.

In return, we offer an interesting and varied role that puts you in contact with colleagues from across The Salvation Army and allows you to gain experience in dealing with the media.
