The HIV Peer Support Network Manager is responsible for managing an innovative, comprehensive peer support network for people living with HIV (PLWH) across eight HIV clinics in Southeast and Southwest London.
The job will involve overseeing and coordinating the peer support network, liaising with funders and partner organisations. You will also support our five peer mentors and liaise with our clinical partners and deliver some frontline support yourself. The postholder will also initiate a quarterly peer support network steering group, convened with METRO’s Head of HIV Services and representatives from each of our clinical partners.
Programme
The Fast-Track HIV Cities London initiative funds this programme of work. It is part of a collaborative piece of work between several HIV voluntary sector agencies, and NHS trusts in London, aiming to support PLWH to better engage in their health and care.
The partner trusts include, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Epson and St Helier University Hospital and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
The team provides services to a wide variety of clients of intersectional identities, with emphasis on those with under-served needs.
Our target groups include those who have complex needs and poor adherence to medication in diverse populations, including those from LGBTQ+ backgrounds, as well as those with Black African, Afro-Caribbean, Latin American, or Easter European heritage.
Role
Working closely with METRO’s Head of HIV Services, you will expand on our current peer mentoring offer and establish an innovative model for a peer support network across several NHS Trusts, where you will embed METRO’s peer mentoring best practice service and provide a bridge between clinicians and patients.

About the role:
This role is home-based with expected travel throughout Wiltshire and Swindon. Hence, holding a driving licence is essential.
As an adult caseworker you will:
- Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime through the direct provision of information and practical and emotional help from the point of crime, and onwards throughout the criminal justice process, where appropriate
- Ensure that the overall aim of helping people cope and recover from the effects of crime is achieved
- Act as a single point of contact, to undertake effective need and risk assessments of victims and their circumstances
- Coordinate the overall delivery of the cope and recovery plan and recovery journey, working closely with other service providers to meet the needs of victims to enable them to cope and recover from the impact of crime
You will need:
- Experience of delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting

About Us:
Our leading homelessness charity client is seeking a new lead worker for their team. The service supports vulnerable people experiencing homelessness who are in Temporary Accommodation (TA) in Lambeth. Their mission is to support single homeless individuals with low to complex needs, facilitating their transition from TA to independent living through rapid intervention and tailored move-on support.
Role Overview:
As a Lead Worker, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting clients placed in Temporary Accommodation within Lambeth. Your primary focus will be on facilitating suitable move-on solutions for individuals in accordance with their needs, driving rapid interventions, and providing independent advocacy for clients without direct managerial assistance. This is a highly community-oriented role that requires a self-starter with sound understanding or a background in move-on and outreach services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of clients with a focus on facilitating rapid transitions and move-on solutions.
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs and advocate on their behalf.
- Engage with clients to increase case load and foster meaningful community connections.
- Work independently to develop and implement tailored support plans that promote independence and stability.
- Collaborate closely with the team of Lead Workers to ensure cohesive service delivery and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in move-on/outreach services is essential.
- Strong assessment skills and the ability to advocate for clients independently.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a high-caseload environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a community-based setting.
- An Adult DBS check is required for this role.

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity providing practical help, support and training to people who have been homeless and suffering from addiction. Role and Responsibilities:
Working alongside and reporting into the Shop Manager, together you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a profitable, customer focused shop.
Deputising for the Shop Manager, you will ensure the smooth running of the shop during their absence; this will include the accurate processing of any financial transactions, the delivery of shop floor and stockroom management, and adherence with policies and procedures.
Our shops are supported by a dedicated team of volunteers - we couldn't run our shops without them. You will oversee your volunteers' induction, management and development, and will encourage your shop team to share any ideas that may contribute towards the success of the store.
Together, you'll create a shop that will uphold SCT’s image and reputation, and help us raise vital funds that will help people in recovery from addiction and homelessness.
· To assist the Shop Manager in ensuring the shop is well run at all times

You will be working alongside a team of Operations Officers, supporting, inspiring and guiding DofE leaders to ensure a consistent and quality experience for the young people that they support. You’ll be managing a portfolio of existing partners in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Powys.
You will be home based, but there will be a mix of face to face and online interactions and, as the role has a wide geographical area you’ll need to be prepared to travel and stay overnight on occasions, sometimes weekends.
Whilst you won’t be working directly with young people, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are having a positive impact on their opportunities.
