The Financial Inclusion Managers will play a central role in helping us achieve our vision for an end for the need for food banks in the UK. This is a varied, proactive and fast-paced role responsible for day-to-day coordination of local and regional projects and partnerships and providing direct support to food banks in your local area. The role will focus on delivering support and services to Trussell Trust food banks and partner organisations to develop and optimise timely access to financial inclusion support to those visiting (or at risk of needing to visit) food banks including through individual meetings, development visits, regional events, training sessions and national conferences.
Role responsibilities
· Assist food banks to develop their financial inclusion offering by providing advice and support to develop new initiatives and partnerships, optimise existing ones and/or develop referral relationships with advice sector partners
· Support good practice in service models, quality assurance processes, governance, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, referral pathways and engaging volunteers and promote a culture of learning and improvement and participation of diverse communities with lived experience.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with food bank staff and volunteers, as well as establishing effective partnerships with a range of stakeholders including (including those that work with specific diverse groups who are affected by poverty). This would include working with advice providers, local authorities, community organisations and churches (who are often involved in the governance and running of food banks) to build understanding of and commitment to the importance of effective financial inclusion provision in contributing to ending the need for food banks in local communities.
· Work closely with relevant Network Leads and Area Managers to ensure that support provided is well-aligned and integrated with Trussell Trust’s wider support offer
· Organise and chair regional training, clusters or events for managers, advisers and volunteers to promote co-operation and sharing of good practice around financial inclusion

The Middlesbrough Programme on Gendered Poverty is an exciting collaborative programme bringing together Buttle UK, the Smallwood Trust and Turn2us to test whether a co-produced & collaborative approach to grant-making can transform the lives of women and their children.

Purpose of job:
To ensure the right cost structure, financial operating platform, systems and controls are in place to deliver Comic Relief’s vision and strategy, making sure investments are effectively managed and protected and making sure high levels of integrity are upheld.
They will also ensure that appropriate advice, information, insight and support is provided to trustees, directors and staff on all financial matters relating to the charity and its trading subsidiaries. You will be responsible for managing resident rent and accommodation charge accounts and other former resident debts on a regular basis, identifying trends and patterns on individual accounts, and chasing arrears. You will work collaboratively with the Resident Services Manager, Revenue and Income Team Leader and Finance team to ensure all rent accounts are up to date and correct, checking Housing Benefit entitlements against PC rates and requesting adjustments accordingly. You will be liaising with both internal and external partners including the Resident Services, Keyworkers, Housing Benefit, the Department for Work and Pensions and residents. You will provide advice and support service to clients with regards to Housing Benefit Appeals. You will also support the transfer of all accounts from Inform to Pyramid.

Purpose
This role will report to the Senior Project Manager, Learning & Innovations Unit, and will be responsible for providing executive assistance to both the Deputy Director (DD) and the Finance & Operations Director (F&OD). The main duties include scheduling meetings, handling correspondence and assisting with the management of projects that both Directors are involved in. To be successful in this role, you will be able to initiate, meet deadlines and communicate effectively. Ultimately, you will be identifying and addressing the needs of the Deputy Director and the Finance & Operations Director, performing management and administrative tasks and building good working relationships to increase the effectiveness of the organisation.
Main Responsibilities
Working as the Executive Assistant & Project Manager your main responsibilities will include:
Contribute towards CUK’s mission and strategic objectives through Executive Support function
· Manage DD and F&OD’s diaries including booking meetings, scheduling attendees and organising venues, in person and online.
· Manage DD and F&OD’s correspondence including prioritizing and responding to emails.
· Schedule Appraisal and Supervision meetings and visits: ensuring both Directors’ time is well used through proper preparation and follow-up with direct reports, other local staff and external stakeholders.
· Process expenses.
· Maintain an electronic filing system, ensuring processes and software are up to date and in working order.
· Provide management and administrative support to assist DD and F&OD in their workload.
Build and manage projects and achieve work targets effectively
· Co-ordinate projects and ensure follow-up with team members where required.
· Create and manage systems to monitor performance of the Chapters, Projects and staff supervised by DD: e.g. through reporting mechanisms and supervisions and appraisals.
· Maintain an action log for DD including following up with those responsible to ensure actions are taken. Manage DD’s workflow and to-do list, assisting with prioritisation and the delegation of tasks to staff.

Role outline and purpose
Working as a key link between the Philanthropy team and wider organisational teams, the Philanthropy Content Reporting Manager – Trusts will create specific reporting materials for our key funders. You will hold responsibility for a reporting schedule for named partners and work closely with our impact and finance teams to track progress of funded projects and ensure that we deliver partner/funder updates in line with agreements.
You will have experience of supporting high-value fundraising teams and be adept at building strong relationships across the organisation to help inform the Trusts team about the activities and outputs of our operational teams. You will understand complex qualitative and quantitative data and use this to write up, design and produce high-quality communications for donors. You will be confident at taking the lead on the reporting requirements of our relationship managers, with efficiency and effectiveness.
