Launched in 2024, Making Waves is our flagship one-to-one music-making programme designed for people at risk of offending or those leaving prison. Over 10 sessions, participants work with a professional producer in our private studio to create, record, and release their own music, building confidence and gaining new skills along the way. Alongside music-making, participants can also gain a King’s Trust qualification in Personal Development and Employability Skills, receive tailored mentoring from Trailblazers to support them into employment, and join our alumni programme for live performance opportunities, industry masterclasses, and ongoing support.

The Programme Coordinator is a new role within the Finding Rhythms team. Based on the success of the Making Waves programme over the last year, we now are in the process of expansion - with plans to increase delivery and engage more participants. The Programme Coordinator fulfills an essential role to support successful expansion of the programme whilst maintaining maximum impact for participants and partners.

To be successful in the role, you will be a highly motivated and proactive individual. You will support the day-to-day running of the programme on site, providing administrative support, and being the first point of contact for programme participants. You will have a person-centred approach, empathy and patience, alongside excellent attention to detail and an ability to think ahead. You will be passionate about music’s ability to transform lives.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

REFERRALS AND ON-BOARDING
● Processing a high volume of referrals of participants onto the programme, in a time-effective manner, ensuring all essential information is gathered and recorded
● Communicating regularly with participants and referral partners on the status and timeframe of their place on the programme
● Responding to general enquiries about the programme and distributing relevant information
● Encouraging participants to attend including identifying issues and providing solutions
● Briefing participants in the lead up and throughout the duration of the programme
● Being the on site point of liaison for the programme

PROGRAMME COORDINATION
● Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and processed
● Updating the musician and Programme Manager with key information in the lead up to sessions and on the day
● Liaising with partnering organisation Trailblazers Mentors and participants to organise mentoring sessions on-site and online
● Ensuring the studio is clean, tidy, and correctly equipped
● Ensuring studio ‘rules’ are adhered to and sessions run smoothly, flagging any issues to the Programme Manager
● Supporting the Programme Manager with the alumni programme including the organisation of live performance events and industry masterclasses

OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATIONS
● Organising and attending outreach and taster sessions across multiple locations (some of which will take place in prisons)
● Being the main point of contact for participants and alumni, sending reminders and general information about upcoming events
● Supporting on organisation and coordination of Finding Rhythms events
● Taking photographs for social media, sharing ‘success stories’ and case studies

GENERAL
● Ad hoc tasks as required, as Finding Rhythms is a small organisation, flexibility is required in every role so we can help and support each other wherever necessary

The Senior Bid and Funding Officer is a new role for Involve as we seek to build the infrastructure to support the growth that we have experienced in recent years.  This role will sit within our Finance & Support Services function and will work alongside colleagues at all levels in the Innovation & Practice, Capacity Building & Standards and Advocacy & Communications functions to identify and provide compelling proposals in response to fundraising and tender opportunities. 

As Senior Bid and Funding Officer you will be responsible for identifying fundraising opportunities to bring forwards to the team for evaluation and coordinating the submission of returns ensuring high quality tenders are produced that meet the needs of funders and commissioners.  You will support function leads in monitoring fundraising outcomes and comparing to income generation targets, developing a database of funders and improving tender response processes to reduce the administrative burden of tender responses without compromising on quality.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of managing the tender return process in other organisations, either in a commercial or charitable sector environment. You will bring strong project management skills, be able to coordinate tender submissions to set deadlines and have an inquisitive mindset to enjoy researching opportunities and thinking creatively how Involve can meet funder requirements while also advancing our mission.

We work across the UK, with offices in Belfast and London. Many of our staff work from home across the UK or in a hybrid pattern, rather than being based at one of our offices, though we meet up regularly as a team. With strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams and stakeholders, you will have an in-depth understanding of systems change approaches and the complexities of measuring long-term, non-linear outcomes.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences and a passion for social justice and alignment with JRF’s mission and values. With excellent qualitative and quantitative research skills, including participatory evaluation methodologies, you will have a track record of producing high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations that drive learning and decision-making.

About the Role

Global Canopy is seeking a motivated and adaptable Research Associate to join our growing NRF team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong research foundation in nature-related finance who is looking to build experience across a range of areas including technical analysis, engagement, and capacity-building.

As a Research Associate, you will work across multiple projects aimed at helping shift global financial flows away from nature-negative outcomes toward nature-positive ones. In this role you will:

• contribute to capacity-building initiatives that help financial institutions apply tools like ENCORE in real-world settings
• support the design and delivery of research that underpins practical tools and insights that incentivise market participants to account for nature-related risks (for example, integrating nature into financial products and services, designing transition pathways, improving the understanding and pricing of nature-related risks.)
• translate complex, technical content on nature-related finance into formats that are clear and actionable for non-specialist audiences

An initial core responsibility in this role is to support the delivery of capacity-building activities on the ENCORE tool in Colombia, Indonesia, South Africa, and Peru. This includes working closely with in-country consultants to provide technical and operational support, adapt materials to local contexts, and ensure effective implementation on the ground.
This role will report into the NRF deputy director, and will also involve supporting the NRF deputy director in her role within the ENCORE partnership and associated fundraising activities.

• Responsibility for the delivery of the capacity-building components in the SECO-funded ENCORE project
• Supervise consultants/suppliers and/or manage relationships with partners who are collaborating on engagement and capacity building activities that help mainstream the use of nature-related financial tools and frameworks
• Develop and curate training materials for example to assist financial institutions in applying ENCORE
• Work closely with the Education and Learning Team in GC to translate technical content into learning offerings
• Explore and develop engagement partnerships on with various stakeholders such as scientific institutions, other IGOs and NGOs. Manage and contribute to governance of these partnerships
• Work with Global Canopy Communications team to ensure that materials for Global Canopy are aligned with organisational approaches to messaging and tone of voice
• Work with Global Canopy Senior Designer to ensure that visual assets and all materials for Global Canopy align with the organisation’s brand identity as needed
• Responsible for designing, leading and preparation of research focusing on key nature-related finance issues
• Ensure highest quality of research outputs and be part of the research teams
• Lead research partnerships on nature-related financial risks with leading scientific institutions. This will include designing governance structures of the research to include market participants as a tester community, advisory committee, or other most appropriate ways to crowd-in practice and test outputs
• Actively contribute to identification of funding opportunities and models (grants, corporate sponsorships etc.) to finance future research work
• Input into development of Global Canopy’s overall strategy and the NRF specific strategy based on area of research
• Support the NRF deputy director in her role within the ENCORE partnership by coordinating partner engagement across key areas. This will include preparation of materials prior to meetings with partners – for example, preparing materials for the ENCORE governance committee or supporting in

Salary: £29,000-35,000 full-time equivalent (This role sits within Band E on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework)

Nature of contract: Part-time (0.8 FTE), fixed-term (18 months). We are a flexible employer and welcome candidates wishing to work flexibly.

At ZSL, we are working to restore wildlife and create a world where nature thrives. To achieve this bold vision, we rely on the support of an engaged and growing community of philanthropists who share our passion for protecting the natural world. The Prospect Research Manager will be instrumental in identifying and unlocking the potential of these supporters.

This strategic role sits at the heart of our development team, building and maintaining a data-led pipeline of high-impact donors to advance ZSL’s conservation science, fieldwork, and education. By leading on prospect research, philanthropic analysis, and network mapping, the postholder will help ensure ZSL’s fundraising efforts are focused, proactive, and aligned with our organisational priorities.

Following the implementation of a new CRM system, the Prospect Research Manager will also play a key role in embedding best practices in data management and prospecting across the team. From crafting research tools to spotting new funding opportunities, this role will directly support the success of ZSL’s fundraising programmes and, ultimately, our mission to save wildlife around the world.

This is a part-time role, with the option of working either 2 days (15 hours) or 3 days (21.5 hours) per week. We are happy to offer flexibility across the working week, and the specific days and schedule can be agreed with the successful candidate to ensure a good fit for both the individual and the team.

There is an expectation to attend the office once per week as well as any required in person meetings.

The full-time equivalent (FTE) salary for this role is £36,750, which equates to a pro-rata salary of:

 Key responsibilities: 

Prospect Research & Pipeline Development: Conduct high-quality, targeted prospect research to identify and support new fundraising opportunities across ZSL’s priority income streams: institutional fundraising, individual giving, and corporate partnerships.

Strategic Prospect Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to shape and implement a robust prospect development strategy that aligns with ZSL’s organisational goals and long-term fundraising ambitions.

About You

• Experience in wealth screening, capacity assessment and affinity analysis to provide propensity scoring.
• Knowledge of data protection regulations and how it applies to prospect research and development (e.g. GDPR and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice).
• Experience of successfully implementing a prospect development strategy to support increasing and diversifying income.
• Proven experience in identifying and conducting detailed research on high-net-worth individuals, trusts and corporates for the higher education / charity sector.
• Evidenced track record of supporting fundraisers with insights in fundraising to achieve six or seven figure donations.
• Experience of using databases within fundraising for prospect management and reporting and making appropriate data management recommendations (Tessitura would be an advantage).
• Knowledge of the principles of philanthropic analysis, relationship mapping and connections, and what makes a good fundraising prospect.
• Demonstrable ability to engage, share expertise, and appropriately challenge senior stakeholders, including CEO with strong interpersonal skills and discretion.

Do you love databases and have experience working with IUCN Red List data?

If so, this is the role for you! 

Day-to-day you will manage the SHOAL database as the person responsible for collecting, collating and presenting the data relevant to all of SHOAL’s activities, partners, programmes and projects.

The primary set of data you will be managing is the SHOAL 1,000 Fishes Database. This is a database of more than 2,000 fish species that will require constant updates on their conservation status from experts and partners.

You will be a key person in collaborating with potentially hundreds of partners across the world to ensure that our database of priority species adequately reflects the action on the ground for each species.

To stand out you will bring your passion for conservation to the overlooked issue of the freshwater biodiversity crisis. You will be comfortable working in a small team, be self-motivated, and able to work independently, with a willingness to learn and adapt. Your interpersonal and communication skills in holding external relationships set you apart.

Our Governance Officer plays a central role in supporting the Society’s leadership and governance structures to deliver our ambitious five year strategy to benefit Wales. This post would suit a proactive and highly organised individual who is confident working both independently and collaboratively, and who is committed to upholding good governance within a dynamic and purposeful team.

About the role

Working under the guidance of the Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of the Society’s governance function. This includes ensuring that our Council, Committees, and governance processes operate smoothly, professionally, and in accordance with the Society’s Royal Charter and Bye-laws.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is highly organised, able to manage competing priorities with discretion, and confident working both independently and collaboratively. You will provide practical support in the preparation and follow-up of governance meetings, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism throughout.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with the organisation and documentation of Council and Committee meetings, supporting the administration of elections, and contributing to broader governance activities such as the Fellowship nomination cycle and reporting processes.

The Communities Lead will lead the development and delivery of the Communities of Hope strand of the project. You’ll ensure that the Hope and Healing network, practitioners and activists have support and guidance to deliver an approach to community work that is trauma-informed and community-led.

You will manage the Hope and Healing Practitioners (likely from Year 2) and support partners in local communities. You'll work together to build capacity within local community pilots and projects, whilst also building wider connections at different levels of local systems to bring about meaningful and sustainable change.

You will play a key role in supporting project partners as well as local partners and activists, enhancing their knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based and asset-based community development approaches. You will help ensure that learning is gathered and disseminated, including examples of theory into practice. 

You will be a person who can connect with communities in a meaningful way and who understands the pressures and realities for practitioners on the ground. You’ll be able to take the lead from what is strong, and bring local resources, assets and different people together to create hope and conditions for community-led healing.  You’ll share your experience and expertise to help develop our wider work at Platfform.

You’ll be central in helping us work out how we tell the story of this project to different audiences, and how we bring different voices into the project to help us engage deeply with what that story really is as the project evolves. You’ll be comfortable sitting in community spaces, working alongside local people, and talking to system influencers.

You’ll ensure we have effective and impactful communication across the project, working closely with our expert Communications and Influencing teams. This will include supporting communications across our partnership, as well as external-facing communications. You’ll bring experience of creating impactful communication in different formats for different audiences, and of developing campaigns.

You’ll manage staff (from Year 2) and work with them to build campaigning capacity within local community pilots, and across the professional networks, including making sure that learning is gathered, disseminated and activated across the project. You’ll build connections with influencers, including making sure the project engages with evolving policy in Wales, Scotland and England. You’ll also share your experience and expertise to help develop our wider work at Platfform.
