Greater Manchester Rape Crisis (GMRC) is looking for a deputy manager to join our friendly supportive team to help us deliver our counselling service. GMRC has provided information and support to women over 18 who have experienced rape or sexual abuse for over 40 years.
As the deputy manager of the counselling service, you must have excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to be organised and able to prioritise your workload and have experience of data collection and management. Training will be provided on the systems used at GMRC.
Diplomacy, flexibility and the ability to collaborate are required, balancing the needs of service users, staff and the organisation.
As a counsellor, you must be BACP or UKCP registered or equivalent and have experience of face-to-face counselling.
We require someone who can represent GMRC’s values and adhere to Rape Crisis National Service Standards. The post requires the successful candidate to work flexibly including evenings and occasionally Saturdays on a rota basis.
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months with the intention to extend subject to funding.
