Greenwich Inclusion Project (GrIP) wishes to appoint:
Fixed-Term* Part-time Position (18.5 hours per week)
Salary: NJC Level SO1 - Currently £13,499 p.a (actual)
GrIP is one of the partner agencies working to deliver the Greenwich Sanctuary Project, which provides community-based support for refugee families from the Syrian conflict, who have resettled in the Royal Borough of Greenwich under the UN Vulnerable Persons programme.
GrIP’s role, within the Sanctuary Project, is to recruit and develop a pool of volunteers to provide support for the families.
As the Volunteer Co-ordinator you will support the support the delivery of the Sanctuary Project by:
- Working with colleagues within Greenwich Sanctuary Project to organise the recruitment, training, placement and ongoing development of volunteers.
· Providing excellent and appropriate communication, support and information to volunteers.
· Keeping accurate volunteer records and handle administration associated with volunteers.
· Ensuring volunteering best practice is followed and maintained.

*Greenwich Sanctuary Project is a time limited project, funded until March 2024 – continuation of this post is subject to annual reviews, but will not exceed the final funded date of the project.
