Location: Groundwork London Islington office with a requirement to work across London
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
In this role you will join the award winning multidisciplinary communities team which has been creating better places in London for over 20 years. Founded on the principle of engaging communities in co-creation, their work includes regeneration, green infrastructure, participatory open space design and well-being projects across London. In the role you will deliver a range of exciting social / environmental projects and be a key member of our Making Space for Nature Team delivering an innovative co-creation programme with communities in Thamesmead.
The Co-creation lead is a specialist role within the London team. This means you need to be an experienced project manager, with the confidence to lead, develop and deliver a range of bespoke community projects and services supporting communities and stakeholders to achieve their aspirations. You will have knowledge and experience of co-creation and capacity building, and a proven track record of successfully managing large scale community driven projects. As a lateral thinker you will thrive on raising the aspirations and supporting communities to achieve their priorities, whilst meeting the expectations of clients and funders. And of course as an excellent communicator you will be motivated by evaluating success and sharing best practice across the London team.
